Description

Soyeon is friendly. She’s sociable. She’s caring. She’s bright. She’s loyal. She’s rational. It seems quite strange for her to have been kicked out of her pack and forced to be an Enola, doesn’t it? What could she have possibly done that was so bad that she had to be removed?

Soyeon was born into a very unhealthy family. Her parents were constantly fighting, both verbally and physically. They would’ve left each other, but they had mated long ago. They were stuck with each other. They didn’t pay much attention to Soyeon or her brothers. Her brothers weren’t as bothered by this as she was; they were all older than her and had been raised during the time that their parents had gotten along. A time that she couldn’t even image.

By the time Soyeon was born, her brothers were old enough to take care of themselves without their parents. They did more for her than her parents did, but they had their own lives to attend to. So, Soyeon was mostly raised by the conversers of the pack that she was born into. She learned to be social and easy to get along with, just like they were. It was only natural that when she was old enough, she decided to be a converser as well. She had presented as a beta shortly before taking the job, and she was incredibly relieved. She had grown up dreading the idea of hormones leading her to mate with somebody that she wouldn’t want forever, fearing that she would become miserable like her parents. As soon as she presented, she knew that she would never mate. She would never commit to someone in that way. She knew how miserable love could be, especially when marking and hormones were involved, and wanted no part of it. That wasn’t to say that she didn’t want affection; she just didn’t want commitment. That’s where everything went wrong.

One day, one of her best friends was in a very intense heat, so she decided to help them. They were miserable and she knew that if she left them alone they’d end up going to someone else, and that person might take advantage. She didn’t help them in a ual way, she just cuddled them. Held them. Kissed them. She enjoyed it, but had no intention of mating with the omega. She made sure to tell them that it was only to help them and nothing more, and they were okay with it. The situation was perfectly fine, until the pack alpha walked in on them. Unknown to Soyeon, the pack alpha had been pining over her friend. At first, the alpha thought that she was trying to steal his potential mate. When Soyeon explained that she had no intention of mating with them, the alpha saw her as disgusting for showing so much affection. He saw her as a threat to all of the relationships in a pack, as someone who would steal anybody’s affection with no hesitation. So, he kicked Soyeon out. It was very sudden. She wasn’t even able to say goodbye to her brothers or friends before she was forced off of the territory for good.

Her old pack lives far from where she is now. She’s since let go of her desire to go back and has actually begun to enjoy the freedom of being an Enola. She’s still the same person that she was; still incredibly friendly, and still committed to never mating. She even still enjoys being affectionate with people, despite the trouble it caused her in the past. She spends her time socializing with most everyone she meets and having as much fun as possible. She’s an incredibly loyal friend who would do anything for those that she cares about, but don’t think you’re free to mistreat her. Having learned to let go of old friends when she was kicked out of her old pack, she can let you go just as quickly as she befriended you.

My name is Jen and my pronouns are she/her, but I don't mind any pronouns tbh. My timezone is EST. I'm willing to rp most anything, I don't have any specific triggers or limits. With this character I don't plan to mate, so don't get committed to that idea! However, crushing on her and trying to court her is okay. Walls and pms are open for plot! I don't bite, I'm too shy.
