myoui mina's memories consisted of the blurred images of the ice rink, the distant cheers of the audience, and the faint music that would fill her ears, and she would dance. she would dance her heart away, almost as though she forgot the world around her. she would only focus on the music, and her movements came as easily as breathing to her. it was her first love. it was her passion. 

her mother was her inspiration - a famous figure skater known for her elegance and complicated routines that no other seemed to be able to pull off. er mother was everything mina wanted to be, and she followed in her footsteps, stepping into the ice rink at a very young age. she showed talent, prowess in a sport that only her mother had when the woman was younger. she spent her childhood training to be a figure skater. at her age, she was able to compete in figure skating competitions, and she had easily won most of them.

however things started to gradually crumble when her parents started fighting. she had no idea how it started and why it happened in the first place, but despite being young, she was aware of what was happening in her home. she then thought that maybe, if she tried harder, gave more of what she could handle into figure skating, her parents would look at her instead of their problems. then everyone would be happy, right?

no.

her parents ended up getting divorced when she was fourteen, and her mother had left them. mina was heartbroken, her inspiration and passion gone. right after that, mina quitted figure skating and became addicted to games and anime, finding solace in them rather than the real world.

that was when she started treasuring her games and anime more than real people.

games will never leave her, right?
