warning: suicide, abuse

his past life in being a human wasn't all that pretty, he was born and raised in a problematic family who faced trouble one way or another. both his parents are alcoholic and drug dealers who didn't had a care towards their only child, he grew up standing on his own with scars and bruises decorating his body, all from his parents' abuse and so called punishments.

he's always been envious of those who had a good life and family yet they complain about the littlest problems they faced. do they even know what hardships actually are? did they ever felt like no one loves you, that you're alone? bull, they have no idea. he didn't have friends in school, he's literally all alone, he gets bullied and picked on, people avoided him due to rumors of his parents being drug dealers (what rumor? that's a fact) that made them think that he's a drug dealer as well but he isn't, he's not like his parents and he would never be his parents.

there was a time where all hopes are no where to be found, he wanted to die, he wanted to disappear from the face of the earth and so he did the biggest but most pettiest sin of all, killing himself. he overdosed on the sleeping pills he had and fell into an eternal slumber. there is no peace in his death, there is no place for him in heaven for what he did and so he got assigned to hell. weird how hell was like an office, he thought of it as something more... sinister and terrifying, it wasn't so bad.

in death he took along his other sin which is envy, making him assigned under the envy department along with anger and violence. with him commiting the pettiest sin, he was classified as a low ranking demon.

personality

a demon driven by rage and envy, minghao gets mistaken as someone under wrath department due to his uncontrollable rage and violence to those who anger and provoke him outside work. he's determined and hard-working despite not liking his job, honestly who in the envy department even likes their job under customer service? you get to deal with both demons and humans that are pretty much s but its his job, what could he do? it was stereotypical for demons like him assigned in envy to be envious of others, make it looks, job and everything else if they have it better, but the demon doesn't voice out his thoughts on what he envies the most. no one but him know what it is and no its not about jobs because that would be obvious enough.

if you ever seen him on the job, you'll notice how different he is. he pretends to be nice and that nothing seems to bother him but looking through his dark mind, he wants to break everything in half, make it something or someone, he doesn't really care. with a smile and sweet voice in talking with clients, its genuine if the customer is nice and doesn't cause any trouble but he feels like spitting and flipping the table, wanting to curse and break everything on sight when a customer drives him mad with too much complains and a bad attitude.

if you're nice then he's nice but if you're an then he can be more of an than you could ever be. despite what is said, he's not that quick to be angered, only if you push up his buttons then he'll blow a fuse. he got some bad reputations all around but believe me when i said that he got a soft and warm side that only a few get to see, he's fond of animals and nature, its what he loves about the earth surface but humans? that's another story, he views them as both toys and food. interns were more like toys to him, he was not allowed to eat them but he could still play with them.

some may say that he may or may not come off tsundere to the one he likes which seems silly but if you were to witness him a few years ago when he got a majorly crush on someone from another department, he was rather acting strangely.

quirks

— he possesses special abilities such as enhanced condition, malliable anatomy/shapeshifting and nightmare manipulation.
— when bored he usually plays around with humans' dreams, making the sweet dream into a horrible nightmare which he enjoys very much, you could say he's a bit of a sadist.
— don't judge him, but he has a thing for cuteness, just lowkey.
— fond of human children, he interacts with them in his human form or he shapeshifts into a husky (don't ask why).
— one of the lower ranking demons but don't underestimate him due to his ranking, he doesn't like that.
— if you ever see his body, you'll get to see scars that scattered all over his body, marks of the past that would never heal.
— sarcasm is always present to him, but he doesn't go against head of deparments, he's respectful of them.
— a bit of a troublemaker outside work. he's daring and bold enough to take on challenges or make them, seems like pride is in him too.
— speaking of being tsundere and liking someone a few years back, he's broken when he realized he was getting played on. silly isn't it? as if you'll find easy romance in hell.
— a great actor who can mask his anger with sugar and honey, but careful he might rip apart your body. in a literal manner.
