born in the fifties, lisa grew up in a toxic environment where her parents fought and neglected her since they often isolated themselves after intense fighting. in the end, she had to take care of herself. well, most of the time. she'd spend her weekends in her grandmother's house as she was more a parental figure than her biological parents ever were. to her grandmother's surprise, as lisa grew older, her powers became much more stronger and harder to handle. their witch bloodline should've been lost when her grandmother married and gave birth to a human but, in rare cases, such as lisa's, it continued despite the mixed blood.
to save her from exposing the witch community, her grandmother trained her to control her powers. with the visits and attention becoming more frequent, lisa became much more livelier and began singing to help cope her family situation. her parents, didn't like the idea of their daughter happy so they sent her to a boarding school to have a taste of what the 'real world' was about.
of course, she didn't have any choice and eventually accepted to being separated from her grandmother to make her parents somewhat happier - if that was even possible. she didn't think of this as much of a loss at the time as she snuck a few books her grandmother gave her about the occult and witchcraft. when she arrived at the school itself, she hated it. she was opted as the weird kid in the class and would threaten anyone that would come across her.
fast forward to graduation, she made her great escape to hitchhike back home with a suitcase in hand and a warm enough sweater to keep her warm. when she arrived at a highway away from the forest the boarding school was surrounded by, she found the motel and was immediately attracted to its inviting exterior. she ventured in and was immediately welcomed with beaming smiles.
ever since then, she stuck with the motel and stopped aging. however, all her past memories became much more faint the more powerful she became. even memories about her grandmother, her parents - once they got word of their missing child, they stuck together and tried to find her until their death decades later, and especially the abuse.
with a soft and sweet enchanting voice, you wouldn't think of her as nothing more than a naive girl waiting for her shot of fame. however, the more you know her, the more cruel you'll find her to be. behind her kind exterior and soft spoken voice, lies an incredibly narcissistic and bossy witch that's protective of the motel.
