Shannon comes from a family with no superpower. Because of this, she thought that she didn't have superpowers just like her parents and other siblings. She discovered her powers in a very violent way. She literally received then when she violently got hit by two men who were trying to escape from the police. The shock activated her sleeping powers called “siphoner” and she stole the two men's powers : electricity and control of fire. Feeling strange after this event, Shannon went back to her house. Thinking that the strange feeling she felt was due to the shock she just went through, she decided to go to sleep until the next day. However, she woke up during the night because of the scent of smoke in her bedroom : her bed was on fire and she didn't know why. Her scream woke her parents up as well, making them rush to her bedroom only to discover their daughter with electricity and fire coming from her hands. That's what made them understand what was happening. It took Shannon a long moment to finally understand what was her power. That she had the capacity to steal other's power or copy them by touching them. It took her even longer to understand and control them. Because of that, it took her a long time to finally accept having physical contact with people again because she was scared to take what was not hers. As for now, Shannon cannot steal powers anymore and can only copy them for a short time.
Shannon is a kind and sweet girl, but she also is straightforward and sometimes thick headed. Having to avoid physical contact during a long time, she sometimes can be awkward with people, especially with people from the other . However, she really likes hanging out with people, she just don't always know how to initiate conversations and end-up saying silly or stupid things.
Shannon is a Siphoner, she has the capacity to copy someone power temporarily or even stealing it (now impossible because she cannot steal powers anymore because since she isn't perfectly controlling her power, she could only definitely steal the power of controlling and creating fire, the power of controlling and creating ice, the power of controlling electricity and the power of metamorphosis.)
Her main weakness is her own power. Since the day she stole the power of controlling fire, she is now vulnerable to anyone who can control water. Also, she can only use one hand per elements meaning her right hand is for fire while her left hand is for ice. She cannot control or create fire with her left hand and the same happen with the power of ice. She only exception is for electricity. She can uses it with both hands because electricity is "cold fire". Also, when using metamorphosis, Shannon cannot use another of her powers as it takes too much focus to control it since it was not her original power. Finally, if Shannon wants to copy someone's super power, she has to touch them but the person need to have a power with the same origin as hers (for example smoke for fire or light for electricity) or if the person's power isn't from the same origin, he/she has to be weaker than Shannon. If not, she won't be able to copy it. As I stated earlier, Shannon cannot steal powers anymore, if she tries to, she takes the risk of being consumed by it.
