@jeon jungkook o h i— pauses for a moment, my brows furrowing together as umber orbs settle onto your visage with every word rolling out of your mouth, the sheer nervousness clearly evident in the way you move and from the tone of your voice and i stay put, waiting for you to come to an end because i didn't want my interruption to be the cause for you to stop and retract.
oOf i don't know what to say.. responds after finding my voice, the opportunity to speak quite clear when you eventually quieten down and i exhale, your words running through my mind and i rub my palms (now a little sweaty) against my sides, taking a moment to gather my thoughts before continuing.
in all honesty, i'd be upset if you did this because everyone said you should rather you wanting to do it. i don't want you to be doing something because of pressure, because you feel like you have to but would much rather prefer you doing it at your own pace. despite that being said, thank you for sharing how you feel with me.

i'm not the best person to communicate with and all but i'm grateful that you think i'm worthy enough for you to like me and want more than just this friendship that we have. and i'd only be a fool if i said your feelings aren't reciprocated. because surely, you'd have to be an idiot or pretty much blind if you didn't like someone as wonderful as yourself. i'm not the best with words but to keep it short, i like you too, pumpkin. more than a friend? yes. but i want us to go steady, get to know each other more and take your cute little on dates you deserve before making anything official, just so you know what you're getting yourself into and whether you still want to be with a person like myself.
