ark Chaeyoung was born in Auckland, New Zealand to a model and actor father and an actress mother who also happened to be a singer. A year later they would move to Melbourne, Australia where they would stay until she was four years old, when her mother took her to New York where she worked on a show until it was canceled when Chaeyoung, now known as Rose, was eight. She's an only child so she's a little spoiled but spent a lot of time around her male cousins who were like brothers to her. At age eight, they moved to LA where both of her parents had multiple projects they worked on. This is when Rose would discover her love for performing. Her parents immediately put her in lessons for dancing, singing and the piano by the best teachers they could find. By age nine, she got her first gig in a kids commercial. For the next four years, Rose would attend school while being tutored in languages as well as being a part of the cast of Mickey Mouse Club and having small roles in dramas.

For High School, Rose would adopt the name Rei while studying abroad in Japan where she joined her first entertainment company. Originally meant to debut as a soloist, she was soon transferred to another company that never debuted her. She switched to another company in South Korea, marking her first time in the country. Working as a freelance choreographer, she got picked up by yet another company that would debut her in a group. However, the group disbanded before even debuting and the company went under. She moved back to the States, and there is where Chaeyoung would stay until her parents died in a burglary gone wrong in their home, where her mother was stabbed and her father was shot. She had tried to stop the attacker, but that had only resulted in her being and stabbed with the scar on her hip to prove it. Due to the trauma, after the funeral she moved to Busan to live with her maternal grandmother and uncle with his wife at the age of seventeen.

The next three years would be spent with her working part-time jobs and school as well as taking small roles in dramas due to her experience from being a child and teen actress. She was scouted by Lotus while working as a barista and waitress at a little cafe near the company building a few months after being there. A friend had sent in a video of her singing and playing the guitar. She almost rejected the offer at first but after some convincing from her best friend, she finally accepted and became a trainee. Eventually, she would debut as an actress and release a few OSTs for her dramas before deciding to become a trainee again to be an idol. When Chaeyoung was 21 her grandmother and her uncle both passed away and her uncle's wife moved to Japan. However, they left her with a significant amount of money as well as the house they were living in. She continues to work as a freelance choreographer mostly for Lotus but will work for other artists or companies.

At first glance, she seems very innocent and naive, almost gullible. But there is a darkness behind that innocent persona. A darkness she tries hard to not let others see. But sometimes it seeps through anyway. Because of this she's been diagnosed woth ptsd and borderline personality disorder. After what happened to her and her parents, she became withdrawn, almost a different person. This being said, she is also very outgoing and friendly and tends to get along well with everyone. She can seem to trust too easily but that's just to fool others, the truth is it's actually very hard for her to trust anyone at all. She's a very loyal person and always looks out for her friends and those she cares about. She's also very stubborn and a bit of a perfectionist. She's actually very playful as well and tends to be a bit sarcastic when not careful of keeping up her innocent persona. She can also be a bit motherly, as can be seen in how she likes to take care of and help others。

Writing & Plotting Style

•.*★ writing style。 I do script and para. Lengthwise, I try to mirror, but I can get carried away fairly easily, so it's not guaranteed. That being said me doing novella is rare and has been a long time but I'm not opposed to it.

•.*★ plotting style。 I prefer plotting over winging. I don't mind doing a bare minimum of plotting (i.e. just deciding if they're strangers or not) and then winging the rest but I do need something that I can work with. I love love love drama and angst and will literally go as far as you're willing to go so don't be afraid to go dark with me! I'm not opposed to other genres of course!

•.*★ overall。 I'm very flexible and can do pretty much anything and everything so don't be afraid to hit me up for some plotting.

Activity & Reply Speed

•.*★ important。 Please don't poke me unless it's been a week and I haven't responded. I do have other rp's that I'm in and even admin and have a lot of other replies, being constantly poked/reminded to do them makes me less motivated to actually get it done. That being said, sometimes I do forget so I don't mind a reminder here and there. Just know that I will never NOT respond, even if it takes me a while. That being said, I can also just be hella slow with replies because life or muse hates me.

Honestly, I'll roleplay anywhere I can. I like rooms the most but if there isn't a room suitable for our plot then I'm open to walls. Anything rated will mostly be done in PMs unless it's as a result of a plot already started in a rated room in which case it may happen there unless you decide otherwise.
