No one is as good as Jennie at arching, whether it be a doe’s eye nearly a mile away in dense foliage, or a sprinting serpentine target on a dangerous quest, she never misses a shot. Whenever someone challenges her, she always wins. She’s pretty damn good at knife throwing too, anything that requires hawk-like eyes and incredible precision. In fact she’s so good you’d think it was a talent cultivated starting at birth, when in reality Jennie only showed up to Camp Half Blood a mere seven years ago. Seven years is a long time for other campers, but considering Jennie’s predicament she feels incredibly blessed to be where she’s at.
Ever since she was young, she was under the impression that her parents were two dads — and although that came to be the truth, she had no idea just who one of her dads was. Growing up in Koreatown LA wasn’t the most exciting, especially considering the rather dampening affects of homophobia in the Korean community there. Not to mention she only had one dad, ever since she could remember. Her father was a good man, but a hustler of sorts who skipped from trade to trade to get his coin until he landed himself a hefty prison sentence for grand larceny. With a young teenage Jennie out on the streets, she was soon contacted by the heads of Camp Halfblood, and that’s when her heritage was truly revealed.
Jennie’s dad was Hades, and on a spring vacation one year he had impregnated a college student in LA, who knew nothing of Hades true nature and wanted the baby immediately aborted. Scared of losing his offspring, Hades denied his romp an abortion, using Hecate’s magic to speed up the pregnancy and kidnap an infant Jennie. Still in LA with tons of connections, Hades made it back to an old flame of his, a man. It wasn’t uncalled for in Greek culture for men to be fond of others, and in this man Hades had a long-term trustworthy partnership that was ual — but also romantic. It was here he dropped off Jennie, the father who cared for her all along — who hustled and got beat just to put food on the table — wasn’t even her real father. Instead, her surrogate father was bound by love to Hades and cared for her like she was his own.

cryokinesis = the ability to control ice and snow. she can manipulate these properties in every way imagineable, which is how she got the nickname of ice princess
Umbrakinesis = being the son of hades has left her with the gift of manipulating darkness. she can use it to become invisible, to shroud enemies in darkness, heal herself in darkness, and even shadow travel. (creating a portal from shadows to travel from place to place.)
Hypnokinesis = the ability to manipulate sleep and dreams. She can put people to sleep through touch or through her singing voice. she can also fully manipulate dreams, even astral projecting to appear in someone's dreams. A more recently acquired skill with his ability, is retrieving memories.
Geokinesis = this has proven to be one of the most deadliest of her skills, and can only be ignited when she is extremely angry or emotional. with geokinesis she can manipulate any earthen material: meaning she can telekinetically throw rocks, create fissures, and even earthquakes.
Necromancy = the hardest of her skills to control, she has no problem resurectig bugs or small animals. Only once has she resurected a human, and it nearlycost her her stay at camp halfblood and her life
