From the flames into the ashes, Yongguk is the most recent slave in Central. Bang Yongguk second son of underground mafia lord Lee Bang Yongguk. He was born into royalty, however, not in the literal sense of ruling the Kingdom but thriving in the secret society that presides over their world.  This society is so powerful that it can control a nation, fears into the bravest of men, and bring turmoil to the most unsuspecting victims. His father none to be a notorious tyrant and influential crime lord leader of the gang called the DiamondGrim. Militant and strict not only with his clansmen but his children especially.  Yongguk, in the beginning, suffered less hardship than his elder brother during their teenage years of training, but that all changed when the Ghoul King's wife fled in the middle of the night. Yongguk had always held onto his mother's final parting words, never understanding why his mother ran away, "Never let anyone or anything change the love in your heart. Please always protect your brother and sister." He planned on doing just that to the best of his abilities, but it was a cruel world he was raised in, and once you're in, the only exit is death. This lesson came swiftly to his eldest brother, who died during a drug deal gone wrong. The King fell into despair, knowing his first choice for his throne had been killed, and as a result, the responsibility fell onto his second son Yongguk. Yongguk worked hard to be the son his father always wanted, even though he knew he could never measure up. He knew he wasn't as naturally gifted nor proficient of a leader as his older brother. But Yongguk was determined to prove himself. Even he studied aboard in various other realms to expand the family business. He only returned home when rumors spread of his father performing the most horrific act on his youngest sister. When he returned to the wastelands, Yongguk found his father his only daughter but also feeding on her. His mother's famous words replayed in his head, sending him into a blinding rage ending in him slaughtering the King. When the local authorities arrived on the scene, they saw the young prince covered in his father's blood and his head in hand.

Yongguk was immediately arrested and sentenced to slavery. Rumors of their family disgrace surface fast, completely discrediting their clan's pristine reputation. As of late, things had gone from bad to worst when Yongguk received news his youngest sister had hung herself. Broken and alone, Yongguk plans to serve out his time as a slave and vows to restore the reputation of the DiamondGrim in honor of his lost mother and deceased siblings. Yongguk has sworn to rule the wastelands as the new underground King. To walk as a free Ghoul, the world where "Gods" walk amongst commoners. Where the heartless and vengeful are revered like kings and queens- and the weak, the distracted are punished without mercy.
