Park Sooyoung was born in the midst of winter, her parents were so happy that their first child had came out to the world, proving the love of two lovers is ethereal. Both of her parents are rare magicians who sought to forget what their family tradition. They are both agreed to raise Sooyoung to be just a normal girl and they did.

At a young age, Sooyoung had been dreaming to become a policewoman like her father as his father had been working for law enforcement even before she was born, his father agreed make her a policewoman, she practiced her to do self-defense style and also to strengthen her beliefs against evil and crime. Sooyoung never knew her parents were magicians who holds the power to manipulate anything.

In her 18th birthday, Sooyoung experienced minor headache and felt that her body has been heavy since she woke up since morning. Her parents sensed the great power that had been bestowed to her when turning 18. Her parents never listened to their own family's warning that when their child turned 18, she will deal great reponsibility on controlling her power. Sooyoung did not knew any of it as her parents kept their secrets tight and safe from her. Her father thought that if Sooyoung knew about the secrets about them, she might use it against their will.

Sooyoung did used her power, but only to defend herself from the creatures lurking in the shadows. She never knew not even once, until one magician told her that her parents were hiding something that she should really know in the first place. The magician led her to her family's old home and discovered things that her parent's owned, magical items and a booklet of spells that her mother wrote after she found an ancient tome of spell from before. Sooyoung was tempted at first but she has a sense of integrity not to be greedy in power. Her father always told her about it. The magician only gave the booklet of spell to her just in case she needed it in an unexpected situation. Sooyoung took it before she went home and confronted her parents, she felt betrayed and also pathetic for not knowing their secrets. She thought she knew them well but she's wrong.

Out of anger, her power had made a big gust of wind around the house, thrashing the place as she couldn't hold her anger for keeping her parents secrets from her. Her father, ran to her and hugged her tight, apologizing for keeping the great secret that Sooyoung had wanted to know for all those years.

A month later, Sooyoung decided to leave the house and purchase a large apartment of her own and continues to study for law enforcement like her father.

I wonder how she got a money to purchase a large apartment?
