The earliest memory of Hyemin is probably waking up in her house only to find herself laying on the bed with her caretaker patiently waiting by her side for her to wake up. Her caretaker, whom is now her aunt figure, also the only person who knew Hyemin's an android, is the one who explained the life that she's living now. She's told that she's the daughter of a beautiful human couple, being both of them a retired science professor. Until recently, she and her parents got into a terrible car crash which caused her to lose them and also her memory. Not having anyone else besides the caretaker, Hyemin is bound to believe everything she says.

Hyemin is tied to a pretty tight routine by her caretaker, in order to ensure her best in modelling career. She needs to run half an hour each day, which is said what makes her stay in shape no matter how much she eats. She needs to consume fish oil capsules daily, to improve immunity and maintain healthy skin so she won't get scars when wounded. She needs to apply high SPF lotions so she won't get tanned no matter how long she stayed in the sun. A laser hair removal treatment is done to prevent all unwanted hair from growing except for her actual hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes. But the real reason for this is an inbuilt setting to maintain how she is programmed to look. What the caretaker told Hyemin to do is to only make her believe and feel more of a human instead of a soulless robot. She was never born. She had no parents nor a childhood. She is only created and now switched on after being perfected.
