10's life has always been about choices. Not good and bad, or right and wrong; simply choices. Either they were made, or they weren't. Such as the choice he made to kill his wife and her first born child when he realized she'd cheated on him with a dog. The choice he made to hunt the wretched dog and put him down. The choice he made to hide himself in the background of the filthy society of the city. And when a vampire approached him telling him of a group called Unknown, he made another choice.
They were an aimless group when he found them. Hellbent on nothing but seeing the city burn for their own righteous anger. 10 allowed his name to be taken from him, and in repayment for it he helped to shape the group into what it is today. An agent of chaos, and an aim of total control of the city.
Life is a game of choices. 10 chose to foster the seeds of hatred and violence, but his purpose is a mystery even to himself. After all, it's a choice that hasn't been made yet.

PERSONALITY
10 comes across as charming, if a bit aloof. Quick to smile but the ice never fully melts in his eyes. He's a very simply and often times callous man; having little regard for anyone outside of himself. He sees the world in his own way and people are pawns to him rather than anything with any real significance to the world around him. Though he would seem narcissistic because of this outlook he isn't as self-centered as it appears on the surface. He doesn't believe himself to be more important; he only believes that he made the choices that others weren't willing to.
He will choose to kill an innocent to save himself. He will sacrifice 1,000 to save the one. Lives hold little value and it's all in the choices that people make. Whether he lives or dies is his choice. If you aren't willing to choose yourself over everything else then you are weak. Once upon a time he wasn't such a cruel creature, but his compassion died with his of a wife.
