Money might not solve everything, but it sure as hell does solve a lot of things. If you have money, why not make use of it?

Ruler of the land. An empire built on high end technology. The Vlatkan name is known worldwide for their massive influence over most industries: business, entertainment, politics. They are responsible for the technology one can see around the world, and have also taken their share of responsibility in creating man-made islands.

Generation after generations, the Vlatkan bloodline has produced the finest, greatest leaders in the society, and has taken immense pride in their skills and the power they hold over the world. The family originated from Russia, and became a business powerhouse in the early 80s — a hard feat to master especially when the family was (and continues to be) ruled by women in a male dominated world. Their wealth and power only grew from then on, their influence extending outside the business sphere. Excellence and perfection were engraved into their genes, most people would say. Both admired and feared just for the name they bear, the Vlatkan Empire is a powerful family unrivaled by most.

Anastasiya Chelishcheva Vlatka was born as the youngest daughter to Alexei Chelishchevich and Liliya Vlatka, in a city near Saint Petersburg in Russia, with two older brothers and one older sister — all of whom have a two year age difference with one another.

Being born into the Vlatkan family meant that she was to live in luxury, with the world to her beck and call. Despite not being born royalty, the family had almost as much authority as the royal family of Russia. For Anastasiya, however, she thought as if any heiresses to the Vlatkan family shouldered almost the same burden as the czars of the royal family. There was only one path for her to take, and it was to inherit the head of the family position. Her older brothers, Aleksander and Andrei, were automatically not eligible for candidacy to the position, for they were men and the Vlatkan family strongly favored women.

Her older sister, Anzhelina, however, was a halfling: born out of an affair between Alexei and a Thalassan woman, who was paid generously by the family to keep shut. Alexei, however, was given less authority around the family — with the lingering threat that if he did it one more time, he would be kicked out of the family, no questions asked. Anzhelina's existence was kept a secret, as to not tarnish the family's name. With her being locked away, Anastasiya often seemed to forget that she even had a sister.

Anastasiya then gained the absolute favor and attention of the Vlatkan family. Only given the best for all things (education, training, shelter), she grew up with an unlimited bank account at her disposable, and was given an AI butler that went by the name of HEUSC, who resided in the earring that she wore on her left ear. For years, HEUSC was the only companion she had, along with a cousin from her mother's side that seemed to be very loyal to Anastasiya. Because of her upbringing, she had failed to make and keep new friends by her side, and had instead developed business-like connections around her peers, as the young lady seemed to know her way around words quite well.

That was perfectly fine with her, as she hadn't grown to have an interest in the others as much as she should have. She was more interested in what made them be who they were, rather than keeping them as her friends. She wanted to know what memory turned them like what they were at present, wanted to know how their mind worked. It was this same interest in humans — both Terrans and Thalassans — that had made her good at maneuvering around them, whispering in their ears, pushing them to where they wanted to be.

A little she-devil, some would call her. Anastasiya only accepted it with a smile.

To the public, Anastasiya Chelishcheva Vlatka was meant to become the empress of the Vlatkan empire. With a face so beautiful and overflowing charisma, paired with a genius-like intelligence, men and women both wanted her and wanted to be her.

To her family, she was the only fitting heiress, and therefore was groomed to be perfect in every way possible. What they didn't know was that the cost of that was a heart that felt and sympathized.

She was seventeen when she was abducted from the Vlatkan Manor.

It wasn't the first time any members of the Vlatkan family was put in danger, but Anastasiya was the first one to have been taken away from their very own home. Despite having the highest form of security (and that included technology as well, of course), the heiress was still kidnapped — why?

The answer was simple.

It was Anzhelina who had orchestrated everything. She had laid out ways how to escape the Vlatkan security, led the kidnappers inside their home to try and take away the one person that had sealed her future into a tower locked up from the rest of the world. 

Anzhelina had meant to kill Anastasiya.

But Anastasiya was calmer, smarter. She had managed to make the kidnappers come to her side — by what, one would ask? By money, of course. She had offered an amount five times what Anzhelina had offered them. 

After being let go, Anastasiya had confronted Anzhelina back home. Anastasiya asked one question: why? 

Anzhelina was furious. She blamed Anastasiya for everything: for being locked away, for the things she had suffered for being a halfling in the Vlatkan family. To her horror, Anastasiya still remained calm, as if none of these matters had affected her. 

Instead, Anastasiya tried to reason with Anzhelina.

The conversation had turned heated — until Anzhelina pulled a gun out and aimed it at Anastasiya. The intent to kill was high and it filled the room. Anzhelina looked at Anastasiya as if they weren't blood sisters; as if they weren't family.

(But what did they know about family, truly?)

So Anastasiya responded in the same kind. There was a  gun installed in one of the corners of the ceiling — for security measures, which Anastasiya had used to question before. HEUSC only needed one command before it activated the gun within the room, shooting Anzhelina down.

That was the first time Anastasiya had dirtied her hands.

It was this event that had revoked her right to inherit the family business, her grandmother deeming that Anastasiya was not yet ready to take over the business, if she couldn't have saved her own sister from her death. And so her grandmother forced her to leave the manor, telling her to first "find a heart, and perhaps I'll let you take over the family name."

Not really understanding what her grandmother had meant, Anastasiya lived her life aimlessly, looking for entertainment and amusement as she struggled to think what kind of a heart her grandmother wanted her to find.

1. Try to have something in mind and read my profile before actually talking to me about roleplaying. I am open to brainstorming, but please do not come to me completely empty-handed. Reading my profile is important.

Writing/Plotting Style

1. 3rd pov only. My length ranges from a single paragraph to a whole novella, depending on how high my muse is for the thread. I do get carried away often times, but it doesn't have to be mirrored.
2. I prefer plotting over winging, even if it's just a small backbone of what we're supposed to be doing. This is why you should read my profile first and come to me with an idea in mind. I often do the same.
3. Starters are based on who seems to make the most sense to start. If it makes more sense for my character to start, then I will write the starter, and vice versa.

Activity/Reply Speed

1. I rarely ever poke people, and do not like being poked. 10 days. Please only poke me after 10 days. I usually know who I'm writing with, and if I haven't replied to you yet, that means either of the two things: a. I don't have enough muse for it yet, and; b. I'm busy. Often times, it's a mixture of both. Please don't use my replying to other threads faster than yours against me. It's a simple matter of which of the threads I have more muse with.
2. I'm usually fast with my replies, sometimes with regardless of the length. But again, it depends on the muse. We can always drop/pick up our thread(s), but make sure you communicate with me. Also know that I might be active in the chat infrequently or a lot. I'm not a very consistent person when it comes to this.

1. I definitely prefer the rooms to keep the rp active! If it's not possible to get a room for it, then walls we go! My PMs are only for OOC business. Please don't post on my walls unless I allow you to.
