Un-winged and , sorrow surrenders its crown to a throne called grace. He dreamed of the most beautiful wings, and he was left with a burning pair.

On the 4th eve of October, a young boy has blessed the dirty streets by the borders of the city of his birth. He was born to an unknown father and a e mother, the latter having birthed to so many children that she herself couldn't count how many she'd given birth to — she couldn't even count how many children had died due to her neglect and constant abuse. They barely had food to eat, and that incredibly rundown basement couldn't even be called a home.

Aslan Choi was the name of the newborn child — and he had all but resented it. he hated the life he was fated to have. He hated the life he was born into; cursed even the very name that his mother had so thoughtlessly given him. He did not belong here. he did not belong with the street rats and the dirt.

He did not belong with the lowest of the low — and he would do anything to change it.

And so, he had run away — but not without bringing his younger twin sisters, who were born after six years. He rejected the life that the heavens had given her. He had pointed at the skies during a stormy night where thunders ran rampant and lightning claimed the empyrean. "I refuse to accept anything you force onto me!" he had yelled into the cruel storm. "I will make own path. I will pave my own way — and don't you ing dare try to stop me!"

And yet life had never listened. When would it, when life was nothing but fair to its mortals? Life was fair, in the way that it favored no one — but it was purely based on one's luck and survival skills that they could even take themselves out of the they called the slums. Even then, it was only barely.

But he didn't let that stop him, of course.

He started small. He made use of what he had — his beauty, unrivaled by many, which had caught the eyes of men and women alike. He was introduced to the idea of finding a benefactor — or the idea of being paid when all he has to offer is companionship, and sometimes even .

He was young. Too young. But he was smart, and he needed to survive.

So even if he didn't want it, he took it. He took the opportunity — this was easy money, so why shouldn't he? He took it with grace. He learned how to lie, he learned how to act. He already had his beauty and charms to his advantage and he made use of it unlike the others who tried the same thing as he did.

He had earned several benefactors. He had sold his face for their entertainment, sold his body for their pleasure. He had learned how to detach himself every single time, to pretend as if he enjoyed it so he wouldn't receive a hit to the face if they thought he was getting bored.

But he was never bored — he was scared, and very much so.

With the money he got from his benefactors, he had managed to send himself and his siblings to school. How he got out of poverty wasn't the most honorable in a sense, and it wasn't the way he'd want it to go — but he had no other choice but to live and adapt with the turn his life had taken to.

He was nineteen years old when he managed to land a job as a fashion model, after one of his benefactors used his connections to give Aslan the job. This was what put Aslan in his debt, and it was also what ultimately tied Aslan to the older man. 

Even if Aslan had wanted to escape, he couldn't. 

The man would always bring up the fact that Aslan had only managed to become a worldwide known fashion and runway model at twenty-three because of him. And even if Aslan still thought of running away, the man had shown Aslan that the older had videos of them having  — and the man promised, oh he promised, that he would ruin Aslan's life — take away Aslan's sisters if he had to — if he even thought of running away from him again.

Aslan's ankles were chained.

So even as his benefactor sold his body off, let the others take pleasure while using his body in exchange for money, Aslan couldn't say no. He couldn't run away.

He was tired, but he had to do it for his sisters. Anything for his sisters, the only family he has left.

1. Try to have something in mind and read my profile before actually talking to me about roleplaying. I am open to brainstorming, but please do not come to me completely empty-handed. Reading my profile is important.

Writing/Plotting Style

1. 3rd pov only. My length ranges from a single paragraph to a whole novella, depending on how high my muse is for the thread. I do get carried away often times, but it doesn't have to be mirrored.
2. I prefer plotting over winging, even if it's just a small backbone of what we're supposed to be doing. This is why you should read my profile first and come to me with an idea in mind. I often do the same.
3. Starters are based on who seems to make the most sense to start. If it makes more sense for my character to start, then I will write the starter, and vice versa.

Activity/Reply Speed

1. I rarely ever poke people, and do not like being poked. 10 days. Please only poke me after 10 days. I usually know who I'm writing with, and if I haven't replied to you yet, that means either of the two things: a. I don't have enough muse for it yet, and; b. I'm busy. Often times, it's a mixture of both. Please don't use my replying to other threads faster than yours against me. It's a simple matter of which of the threads I have more muse with.
2. I'm usually fast with my replies, sometimes with regardless of the length. But again, it depends on the muse. We can always drop/pick up our thread(s), but make sure you communicate with me. Also know that I might be active in the chat infrequently or a lot. I'm not a very consistent person when it comes to this.

1. I definitely prefer the rooms to keep the rp active! If it's not possible to get a room for it, then walls we go! My PMs are only for OOC business. Please don't post on my walls unless I allow you to.
