Mark had been engaged to a beautiful breedee of a prestigous breeding house. He had loved the boy, promising to protect him from any harm that could come his way. Mark found out that his little prince was pregnant with his child. Mark was the happiest he could be, that was, until Christmas a few years back. 

He got wind that his little prince had gotten into an accident. Though he had made it through, his child did not. Mark was destroyed, but very supportive of his little prince, getting him whatever he needed, whenever he needed. 

Despite Mark being as supportive of his little prince as he could be, it wasn't enough for him. One day, his little prince had left with only a note left on Mark's pillow, stating that he couldn't take it anymore, being in Mark's presence was hard enough knowing how bad he had wanted a child.
