For as long as he could remember, Wonho always wanted to be a hero. He idolized all of the old greats, how they shirked their true identity and worked from the shadows to keep their city safe. They may not ever get public recognition for their deeds, but many owed their lives to them. Wonho wanted so badly to help in any way he could. When his powers manifested, he was recruited as a preteen while living in foster care by a mysterious organization under the guise that they would help him gain control of his powers since he posed a risk of exposing himself as a mutant if he was raised unchecked. However, as he got older, he realized that while the group was protecting superhuman kind, it didn't seem to want to try to coexist with humans by a peaceful means.

Leaving earlier would have meant going back into foster care, only to age out and end up on the streets. It was that fear that had kept him in the vigilante group in spite of not agreeing with their ideology. It was only when the organization was taken down by heroes when he was seventeen that he was given the opportunity to escape and was taken under the wing of mentors who could properly train him to do good. Because of them, he was able to attend school and hone his abilities in a safe manner, for the right reasons.

As far as he can tell, his powers consist of not only being a perfect physical specimen, but he can also absorb kinetic energy, store it, and then release it whenever he chooses. So, when someone hits him, he takes in all the energy from their attack and leaves it listless. It makes him nearly invulnerable to any physical attacks. Then, he can turn that energy around and pack it into his own hits. Of course, bigger attacks require him to store more energy and the more he expels without refueling, the weaker he gets. He has caused himself to be bedridden for a week in the worst case scenarios when he uses all his reserve. Because he also can't really control his abilities, he could blow all that pent up energy in a single hit and cause quite a bit of collateral damage. His powers are amazing, but destructively so. The man can level a building with a single punch and Wonho can't always control how much power he puts behind a hit. When he fights, it's all or nothing.

Wonho's enhanced strength and ability to absorb the energy of physical attacks makes him a formidable opponent in hand to hand combat. However, he can also be defeated if an opponent immobilizes him without striking him with significant force or if something heavy falls on him because even though he would absorb the kinetic energy from the impact, the weight of the object/debris would still be enough to brush him unless he was strong enough to lift it off. So, ya know... Don't drop a building on him. He also is vulnerable to mental attack. Telekinesis and telepathy are his worst nightmare.

WONHO IS A LOVABLE DOPE. He has always been an optimistic person who tries to see the good in the world and others. Even after the Snap, he had to believe that things would eventually work out for the better. Though, it was admittedly quite difficult in his civilian life when he had to see the kids at work, or even his coworkers, who had lost their families. Still, succumbing to despair did no one any good, so he tried to remain a source of uplifting energy and look after everyone. It is both a blessing and his biggest weakness. Hoseok would sacrifice his entire being for someone in need. He has been known to even reach out to villains and try to appeal to their somewhat nonexistent better natures.
