the sky had a twinkle in it whether it was day or night. scientists have estimated there to be an asteroid headed straight toward earth the size of jaehyun's . it's going to hit the earth with the full force of jaehyun's . there's nothing that can stop it and we only have four days until impact.

when kyun looks into the sky, he could see his life pass before his eyes. not his past, but the future he was supposed to have if this asteroid wasn't going to end the world as they knew it. in the twinkle of the asteroid, he saw the twinkle of seon's eyes when she smiled. the tears in her eyes when she cried. he closed his eyes and felt the heat of her hands in his when they first held hands. the smelled the scent of her perfume that lingered in the air whenever she'd pass him by. the pounding of her heartbeat against his when they hugged. his chest tightened with frustration. he hadn't even kissed her yet. he hadn't even met her parents yet. he hadn't even had the chance to ask her father for his blessing to marry his daughter nor had he the chance to even think about how he'd propose yet. his whole world was going to be taken from him in just four days and he hadn't even told her just how much she meant to him yet.

as he opened his eyes, he didn't see the end of the world in front of him, but the beginning of his new world. there she was, standing in front of him as if the world weren't going to end, looking at him curiously, asking him, "what are you closing your eyes for?" taking his hand in hers with a cheeky smile. the heat of her hands hold his hands so warmly. the twinkle in her eyes was brighter than any asteroid entering the atmosphere could be.

"just thinking," he replied, smiling back at her and pulling her into an embrace, feeling her heartbeat against his, "you close your eyes, too."

and as he asked, she closed her eyes. she was so close he could smell her perfume sprayed behind her ear - the scent of coffee and vanilla that melted into her body. and took this moment to remember the way her hands felt, the way her heart beat, the scent of her perfume, the fabric of her clothes, and then closed his eyes as he pressed his lips against hers, his plush lips stacked between her tender tiers. her lips were soft like cotton candy and tasted like chapstick. he could feel her cheeks flush, her fingers twitching, her heart racing.

he opened his eyes to look at her and saw the glimmer of tears in her eyes. letting go of her hand, he reached to wipe them away, but she pulled him back and kissed him again with her tears rolling down her cheek. he could feel the tip of her tongue flicking slowly against the surface of his tongue with the salty taste of her tears and he could only close his eyes and kiss her back with his wet muscle caressing hers, his arms wrapping around her tight.

pulling away with a sniffle, she wiped her own tears, overwhelmed with emotion. her voice cracked as she struggled to catch her breath, crying, "i thought you'd never kiss me before the world ended, you idiot." her fist pounded on his chest as she began to break down and sob, the rushing realization that the world was going to end soon and the future she thought they had so much time for was never going to happen. "don't you ever make me wait like that again."

and as the world met its end to jaehyun's fat , the universe continued as it always did without the liveliness of earth. the desolate universe grew and grew until the end of time, collapsing in on itself at the end of its life and creating another universe anew. and once again, earth rebuilt itself. going through eons of evolution until once again, they two reunited, passing each other by in a busy metropolitan city, the twinkle in her eye staying the same after all these eons. kyun couldn't help but grab the same hands he'd held so many lifetimes ago and pulled her into his arms, feeling her heartbeat against his, the scent of coffee and vanilla melted into her skin. looking up into his eyes curiously, seon finally asked with her familiar voice, "what took so long?" and pushed her heels off the ground to press her lips against his.
