the youngest son of the byun’s had been born on a starlit night, amid the warmth of spring and the promise of brighter times ahead. some would say it became a part of him, that brilliant light from above. and the boy had eyes that shined like pebbles washed by the ocean waves, with a smile that ignited inner laughter in all who saw. and yet baekhyun didn’t quite fit into the mold that made their family into the aristocratic empire that they were.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

some would argue that it was all just a front, the smile on his lips and the light aura that made him so endearing to other people. the way he managed to, seemingly effortlessly, put everyone at ease. drawing them into liking him and wanting him to like them in return.

and yet something about him just didn’t fit. like, perhaps he was a walking catastrophe waiting to happen.

 

and then it did happen and baekhyun was swept away not even a day after his seventeenth birthday.  

the buzz about the byun's sudden disappearance had been silenced by the government, and the male in question spent years locked away to be tested on; experimented on. all the works, like every other person that had been touched by the entity. despite his heritage and status baekhyun wasn’t treated any differently here and his light has long since faded.

 

and while it used to be other people he had wrapped around his fingers, it’s animals now. for baekhyun can communicate with and manipulate them however he seems fit. meaning; baekhyun could sic any animal on you. to top it of he also has the ability to summon certain animals, as companions, and would then mimic certain qualities and characteristics of that particular animal while also making them fight for him. when baekhyun does this his eyes would shift from their usual brown to an icy blue. and yet baekhyun is still full of contradictions.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

while at first he may seem sweet, giddy and excitable, that’s really just one side of his rather complicated persona. for he’s also manipulative, feisty and a violent fighter with developed animal instincts. there seems to be little rhyme and reason to baekhyun’s moods, as he could flip from demure to rage-filled at the drop of a hat.
