STORYLINE: Born in one of the worst neighborhoods in Seoul, just before the Dividers took over. Abandoned, he wandered from one foster family to another. It was a child with problems who had no idea what a family home and family warmth looked like. Found by Hwiyoung when he was only 10 years old and pulled into her youth protection project. He liked her and never left his side during her visits. She was different, not hiding behind a fake cheerful smile. She was actually involved and wanted to help them. Years later he found out she was a Knight.

He was only 16 when he informed her that he wanted to become a pawn and help her change the streets. She took him in and trained personally. Jiyoung was devoted, later became one of her closest subordinates. He followed her out after the 'Knight fall' and was a vital part of her new gang.
