As for the theme, well I didn’t join for the theme but because I wanted to rp a specific story I’ve planned for this character with another. And mafia was never my forte everytime I tried to join rps for that part. So I may not be the best at answering to this.
All I can say is the layouts do look super professional and the background clearly has been thought through in a way you don’t usually see in rps these days.

But! I’m sure other peeps will have more to add on the mafia theme side.

People can be easy intimated by length. Even I occasionally! But that's more me being insecure with my English not being my native language. Yet, I got my ideal writing partner who always encourage me to write, and don't mind my mistakes. Which helps.
But I think that you should write the way you want, this is how you can develop your skill, but also, you are giving your character not only a good background but soul and feelings. Not everyone is looking for simple and short rp, that can be forgotten. So write as much as you want! Build that girl, make her into a great character and I will be happy to read and see what you create. Moreover, yes for plots! But maybe as Jiyong this time, I want to give him some love too, and I'm sure he will find you interesting and pretty as well! I'm still working on his background, as well as Hoseok's, I just needed a whole break after all those layouts.
