from birth meiqi had been a very bright girl, you could easily see the gears turning in her head as she was trying to learn something new. she even began to walk and talk before most kids did, and because of these little things, her parents had thought they gave birth to a little genius. and that's what she wanted them to believe as she was growing up. things, however, wasn't that easy for meiqi as she had to put hard work into everything she did, and even studied to keep the grades she had being one of the top of her class.
throughout her school years meiqi was known as the quiet geek and for many years she had gotten bullied for it. she would always have her hair tied back, glasses on her face and books in hand everywhere she went. with only one person being her friend in highschool, they were her saving grace. spending every minute with her friend, even if they were studying hours, until her parents had brought the news upon meiqi that they would be moving to south korea for her dad's work. so she had to leave everything behind.
her new life in korea allowed meiqi a fresh start, instead of the geeky girl persona she had took on a new one as the mysterious foreign girl. however it being her last year of school it was hard for her to make friends not being able to speak the korean language.

Life in college for meiqi was a little easier for her, she had fond herself a love interest, and the two eventually started dating throughout the 4 years of college. she continued to study hard but also learned how to enjoy her life as she began getting more immersed in the korean culture.
it wasnt long after her college graduation that she landed a jon as a intern scientist. It was there she had thought she would eventually have her life set out for her. until she had found her lover cheating on her. that was the cause of her loosing her job, after she had recklessy set the lab on fire.

After losing her job, Meiqi didn't have much left, she now had to find a new job, and an apartment of her own. It took some time, but she managed to find her way to working in a crematorium. 
Meiqi wanted a fresh start and decided to download this app, for some more hopeful start on her love life, and making new friends.
