the overused, cliche saying 'there's more to the man than what meets the eye' is the perfect representation about chris' background and past. christopher was born to a family that was fortunate enough to let their children pursue the things they find passion and love for. a natural born ace, bang christopher chan was the pride and joy of his family academically wise, and even career wise. his social circle was perfectly balanced and he finds joy with a variety of sports making him physically attractive and capable. there was nothing amiss from a perfectly happy childhood the boy had back in sydney, australia. 

love has never been his expertise. he has his fair share of shallow relationships back in his youth, but everyone has always said the same thing when their relationships began to deteriorate. 'you always couldn't care less.' chris has eventually accepted the fact that maybe he indeed was lacking, but with every passing relationship, he has tried to put in more effort but to no avail. the result was always the same. 

turning twenty one, he moved to seoul, south korea to attend one of the most prestigious universities in south korea, his home land. and just as he found himself adjusting to a far different culture and place, he found himself falling deep into loneliness. however, a whirlwind of events began to take over his life in a snap of a finger.

he finally fell in love.

the first time he's ever felt the genuine hit of love in its rawest form.

the type where his mind and heart races with even just a brief mention of his name.

the kind of love where it consumes one's world whole.

but if it was a happily ever after, chris wouldn't be here stuck in the same place he was in years ago.

love can be so sweet but so cruel at the same time because just as he finally found the person he truly and genuinely loved, life had other plans. his whole world came crashing down in small broken pieces one night in the intersection of hankuk university and the highway, after an argument that stemmed from his prideful disapproval of something  he loved to do and would love to share with chris. and as he dejectedly ran away from the argument, an accident happened right in front of chris' eyes. 

chris has never been much of an enthusiast for flowers but after his passing, the golden boy has begun to take interests in flowers. he always compared him to a flower that can remain beautiful and shining even to the harshest winds, the worst rains and the drastic heat. and just like how he said that, chris has continued life. landed a job in the same university they met in and would look at the same places they had memories in even after years. time has passed for chris and he has withstood life after him, but has never moved forward. 

however, time is finally catching up, and as much as he didn't want to admit, the hole inside his heart ached to be filled. left and right, he'd try to find the right one, but nothing seems to fill that gaping hole even after time passes. 

looks like he is indeed out of tricks under his sleeve, it was time to turn to the logical solutions.
