Orange & white tabby hybrid

Background

Felix grew up on the streets. After his mama disappeared

one day, Felix had to raise himself in the old alley,

developing a bad distrust of humans. One stormy night,

Seonghwa found a scared little orange ball of fur out

shivering in the rain and brought the kitten into his home.

It'd definitely be an understatement to say he was shocked

the next morning to find a  boy in the kitten's place.

My Moonlight

I can't believe I found you after  all this time. You were like

a shining light that helped me find my way in the darkness

just like the moon. I'd be lost with you. You've taught me so

much, protected me, showed me how to overcome my

fears... I can't imagine my life without you now. Thank you

for bringing me so much joy and happiness every day and

so much warmth and love every night. Thank you for

guiding me, for being there for me, and for being everything

I could ever even dream of.  Mostly, I just want to say...

thank you for loving me.  For being mine.  And for showing

me just how wonderful and magical life can truly be.  I love

you with all my heart, my sweet, beautiful bard.

Love, your sunlight

Memories

When the leaves changed that day, my true love was born

so for every year, from now on, I want to celebrate it with

you. My wonderful miracle. My Choi Yongbok.
Phew.... /takes a deep breath/ With baited breath, and

tears in his eyes... the Bard prepared to write the ending

and whispered... Open your eyes...

On one knee, he looked into the eyes of his Prince and

said...

/I sit on one knee on the floor, tears brewing in my eyes/

My darling Prince...

Every day with you has been a story even I couldn't

imagine; because this could only be written in a dream. I

never thought that I would be blessed with this feeling

again but now I have you... I can't write my tale without

you.

I am but a lowly Bard now, but I still strive every day to be

your King. I will love and cherish, care and hold, protect

until my final breath...

And every sonnet I write shall bare your name... Yongbok.

Now my story comes to a close; I must ask for your help,

my Prince.

Will you be my Happily Ever After...?

Will you marry me?

(TuT Of course, baby TuT ♡♡♡)
You are my new beginning & I will be your happy ending
Ti amerò sempre (I will always love you TuT)

Description

"Sun & Moon: A Tale of Pain and Promise"

Once upon a time... there was a Prince who lived happily in his Kingdom. He was born with the Fall of Autumn and nature smiled down as his family blossomed. He would learned so much about the world with his Mama beside him. The Kingdom's people didn't know much about the Royal Family as they lived quietly and happily. Often catching a glimpse of the orange tail that the Prince was born with; swaying in the wind. However, the Kingdom fell as quietly as it blossomed. The Queen vanished, and the Prince was gone. The people were stunned and disheartened but under the new rule, they had to move on. The Prince, however, survived... living alone and having to pave his own way in life. The events broke him and the Little Prince swore to never trust anyone again.

The Heavens cried at the loss of the Kingdom, entrapping the town in an awful wind. Many rushed to their homes but the stray prince was alone... cowering in the side street and begging the rainy monster to go away. As he drifted to sleep, a travelling witch came across the kitten's trembling form. Heartbroken by the sight, the kind witch came to its aid... not realising that the child was the lost prince written in fable. The witch offered a warm home, helping the boy to grow with a companion and slowly rebuild the trust lost. The darkness that claimed the Kingdom may have stolen the Throne and his Mother...but the happy memories were still intact.

The prince was a curious soul, he would use his power to bound from shelf to table; chasing the toys that the witch would often bring for his development. Sure, the scars of the past were fresh. He was still scared of the water - or the monster as he called it, but the Witch was happy to have a friend and to watch him grow. He became the only person the Prince trusted and for a while, it was good. Until more friends came along. The Witch travelled and was known for his hospitality and nurturing. It was never a negative. The Prince loved to watch the Witch at work but it was always at a distance. He knew that if he came close, he could easily be hurt all over again.

One guest was different however. As the kitten explored, they would often say hello or wave with a grin. The Prince was confused but scampered back to his hiding spot in fear. Why would someone want to suddenly pay attention? He made it clear that he wanted to be alone. Just him and the Witch but the guest showed persistence. The Prince learned that he was a Bard. A storyteller of sorts. He travelled far and wide but settled back home. The Witch's home. The Prince knew there had to be more to the story and his distrust became curiousity. He peeked into the Bard's window every night, exploring his room for clues to prove that he wasn't the perfect author he played out. However, there was nothing. Wine stained glasses, a strange metallic smell- possibly from the sword he bared... How could this be? How could this person be so perfect and yet... make him so scared?...

Lets see... The Bard looks dark, mysterious. His hair was curled and messy, with a single blonde highlight. He was built more like a Prince or even a Knight so it made the little kitten confused why he would be in the line of story telling. His voice would dance from a soft cheery song, and rumble in a deep baritone.
/I use my softer voice and then satoori to make an example/

One fateful night, the Prince tried to get into the Bard's room; but the door was jammed. Using his power, he luckily managed to hop outside in the cold to the window and slip under the glass. However, the crashing sounds made the Bard jolt awake, looking down at the cold, trembling kitten on the floor. The Prince panicked. He was never this close to him and he didn't know what he would do. Much to his surprise, the Bard gathered him into his arms so he could get warm under the blankets. The Prince wanted to run away, scared that he would be squished but each doubt was proved wrong as the Bard's voice became a source of comfort on the stormy night...

They did, Felix. They became the best of friends.

It was a slow process but the Prince wanted more nights of rest with the bard. They would nap under the blankets and in his kitten form, the Prince would sleep finally at ease after so long. He was still nervous but the Bard was easy-going. He would do a lot of the talking but more to help the Prince. The days would go from nervous nods, to finally talking in his true form. The Prince would try to talk with him in surroundings he was used to, like the backstreets that he often roamed as a young kitten. Or...he would visit the Bard as he tried to get back on his feet through various jobs. The Bard would never flinch and in fact, was happy to show him the world. Teach him things that he didn't know from his childhood. Refresh on the world that the Queen painted for him and even slowly help him conquer his fears. The Prince was growing to the man his Mother imagined him to be. Brave despite the thoughts in his head. Open and honest... and always loyal to the friends he was making with the help of the Witch and the Bard.

Yet somehow... the companionship grew more and more. And once again, the Prince grew scared... and so did the Bard. Whenever they were together, the friendly talk would evolve to a caress of the hand and both flinched away. The Prince begged to the heavens for an answer. Is it evil intentions once more? Was he foolish to trust someone again?
These doubts would form fractures in the friendship, the Prince prepared to push the Bard away to save the life he spent so long building...and that was when he learned the awful truth.

That the Bard was just as broken as him.

The Bard carried a secret with him. He was once a Prince just like the kitten. Born in a land far away. Their Kingdom was one of tradition. Only noble blood on the throne but...just like the Kitten. The Bard was curious. He would explore the towns below. Say hello to everyone he meets and he was a joy. The townspeople loved him and he loved them just the same. One night, during his stroll... he met one of the chamber maids in the castle and they were lost in the halls. They spoke as they walked, spoke of their different worlds and they became friends. Closer than friends. The mysterious Prince found his true love.... but it was never to be. The darkness that consumed the Cat Prince's Kingdom consumed the Bard's family, eating at their desire to keep the Bloodline untarnished. However, the darkness didn't stop to corrupt the royal family... it claimed any threat they considered. Including the Prince and his love. He survived...but he watched the maiden slip away from his grasp, consumed by the Shadows.

In a fit of rage, the Prince ran away from the Kingdom much to the townspeople's dismay. He swore that the Darkness and his lost family would pay for what they did. For he saw that the past can never be frozen forever... He would venture alone, growing as his anger blossomed to that of vengance until he stormed the now broken castle. The towns cheered as the evil was slayed, the Prince embracing his own shadow by the fangs he bared. Nothing would bring back his love but he would live on for the people he lost. The town bid him farewell as they were now safe and under new rule, the Prince began his new life as a Bard. Sharing his past under the guise of stories but still unable to love.

It was a sad time... The bard was still haunted despite his victory but his years of travelling lead him to the Witch. They crossed paths many times and before long, he was living with them. The Prince found out about the past from the Bard himself. In the heat of the fights between them, the Bard sat alone with his tears and bared his heart to the Prince. Realising that they were both broken by the world brought them closer and they began to notice the magic between them. The Prince's energy healed the Bard when he was down or ill. The Bard's touch kept the Prince warm in the world. Their abilities were working as one. As if the fates realised their importance to one another. They held each other's hearts as if it was their own and shared many firsts together. Their first kiss together... their first date... their first dance... even their first bath. The last one was a major achievement for the scared Prince. Before long, they were in each other's arms. Not as a cat and a Bard...but as true lovers. Living each day free from the shakles of their past...

Ah....wait.... I don't think I have an ending for this yet... let me think.

/I grin as you finally realise the story's message, allowing my eyes to gaze into yours before caressing your cheek/
I have the ending. Close your eyes again...

/waits until you close them again/ The Prince and the Bard witnessed many Happy Endings. The Witch with his familiar. The sly tailed Princesses... The Kings of the Forest. With every happy union, their bond grew stronger. As if each couple they saw was proof that they were meant to be. They saw themselves in each of them. Every fear, desire... wish. In the Forest Ceremony, the Kings' speech rang true for each of them.

However, the Bard knew he had to give the Prince the ending he deserved. He imagined it under snow, mistletoe, under the fireworks as a year began anew... but as they sat together, still in the gladrags of the Kings' wedding; the Bard knew exactly what to do. He asked the Prince to close his eyes and he did what he did best... He told a story. An embellishment of their lives, tied in a beautiful fairy tale bow. Every sad memory changing to a tale fit for a Prince. It helped him remember the kind witch who brought their paths together, the darkness they had to get through to witness the light, and the Queen who would be smiling from her Castle balcony if she saw her precious sunlight happy at last.

Phew.... /takes a deep breath/ With baited breath, and tears in his eyes... the Bard prepared to write the ending and whispered... Open your eyes...

On one knee, he looked into the eyes of his Prince and said...

/I sit on one knee on the floor, tears brewing in my eyes/
