Seth grew up in a pretty complicated home, being the son to a murderous mortician and his cult leader of a mother, and found that he'd never be able to explain that to anyone. He had been a bright child like the rest, running around and enjoying the colorful new world around him and sadly, he could pinpoint the exact moment that changed, almost like everything turned dull and disgusting. 

he was seven years old when he made the mistake of going to the basement, over the moon to show his corrupt parents the art project he'd been working on. at the time, he couldn't fully understand what he'd seen but he knew it was wrong. it was wrong, right? three bodies laid out at his feet, the concrete floor covered in blood as his mother recited something in a language that made his ears hurt. his dad watched, seemingly excited and enthralled with the view. 

that was the day his parents sat him down and swore him to secrecy that no one could know - he was child who trusted his parents and of course, agreed. it didn't sit right with him but in that moment, the walls started going up and he no longer enjoyed the things around him. his art became dark, he stopped wearing the cute little outfits family friends had gifted him and something about the way his mom smiled at him made his skin crawl.

he knew his parents loved him regardless of their dark activities and at some point, he just let it go. he didn't speak much to people and was placed in the outcast list automatically as the school years went by.

he's never told a single soul of what he saw that day or the sounds he'd heard for the next several years. he also never told anyone about what happened on his sixteenth or how part of his mind craved for it to happen again.

Being the head housekeeper, Seth is always around somewhere in Astor, mostly due to his horrendous inability to sleep most days. When the work is done and he doesn't feel like being in his room, he likes to linger in the lobby and patronize guests with his bored gaze and quiet sarcasm. You, on the other hand, don't like when he sits on the desk or mocks guests and their 'over the top, boujie' fashion sense that looks like 'garbage chic.' It seems you always happen to be there when he's on breaks or wanting to relax, somehow leading to an odd little friendship - the first one he made in the building. He wasn't sure when he stopped being mean to customers or when he let his real name slip or even why he was willing to make the pistol under his uniform known when a couple of no goods showed up in the lobby. He'd never met someone he really called a friend before, even his part time lover was never considered such.
