Yongguk was raised in a dysfunctional family, his mother drinking away her good health and his father evidently cheating on her with multiple people. He was raised by a poor family, always having to move to avoid getting caught by the law. After his father left, Yongguk took it as his role to care for his mother even though he felt she didn't deserve it, she had done this to herself after all. He got into things he likely shouldn't have, and left money to her before leaving to have his own life. He can appear cold and uninterested to most people, which is unfortunately true. He only lets a select few in and is highly picky in everything he does. Putting his career before everything, he feels alone most of the time and wants someone he can have a functional relationship with.
