Kuina never speaks of his age nor about his family life. His family was tired of him not taking his future seriously, or at least that’s what they claimed. He always came home with another piercing and it wasn’t long until they officially gave up. Thankfully, they never got to see the giant wings tattooed on his back. They began to ignore him and forced his brothers to do the same, choosing the method of silence to make him leave on his own since talking to him didn’t seem to work. The one thing that he can’t hide though is that he’s a former e, which lasted for a few years after being a male . He began his life as an when he was fourteen. Everyone around could tell how young he was so they wouldn’t go any further than hiring him to keep themselves company. It didn’t matter to him because he was getting a lot of money. He didn’t become a e until he was seventeen, bordering eighteen. It was more believable now that he had gained height and looked older, for the most part. It’s barely been a year since he gave up that life so bad habits are still in the works of being killed. He had tons of fun while he was younger and has made the choice to do what he can to get his act together.

The money wasn't received through ways his parents would have approved of and he wasn’t successful in a career field that they would've liked either, but he doesn’t care. You and Kuina used to go to school together. Living next door to him, you could hear the way his parents were always yelling at him. Sometimes, he would run away over to your house and you would sneak him in and take care of him. One day, you helped him move his things out of his family’s home, even though he was only sixteen. He assured you that he had some place better to go and that maybe, if he was lucky, he would get to see you again. He didn’t keep in contact in any type of way and it only left you to wonder if he was truly okay. You run into him one day while he’s out looking for a job, or so he tells you. You don’t recognize him at first but once you find out who he is, you quickly take up his offer to catch up on how your lives have been.

You met Kuina through your parents and it wasn’t in a traditional kind of meeting either. One of your parents either worked with him or had hired him and he was around so often that you two became friends. He watched over you and took care of you whenever he got the chance. But when you were taken to the orphanage, neither of you even got the chance to say goodbye. Because you were around when he was getting all his piercings, you can still recognize his face whenever you run into him on the streets, which is mostly on the street just outside of the orphanage. He’s excited to see you but also to find out just where you disappeared to.

As far as you know and can remember, Kuina is a gigantic part of why your parents didn’t want you anymore, or so you made yourself believe so many years ago and you can’t change that feeling now. You saw him around your house so much when you were younger but he never saw you, but you know because he was pretty much around all the time that he had to have had something to do with your parents discarding you. You can’t tell if it’s him but whoever he is, he looks familiar. He introduces himself as the man you’ve made yourself despise over all these years. You have no problem voicing that hate to the point of you threatening and even trying to end his life right there on the spot but what if it really wasn’t his fault? Can you believe him?

Remember that time you went into that neighborhood with your friends? That one that your parents told all of you not to wander to but you went there anyway? There’s no forgetting that boy that one of your friends picked out and all of you got a piece of in the alleyway near the corner where he always stood. You never learned his name, only that it started with a “K.” On the other hand, he never forgot your face. When he literally runs into you, there’s a sense of fear in his eyes that you can’t miss and it reminds you of that night so many years ago. You’re not that person that you once were and you want to make it up to him, but can you really prove that you’re any different?

The only position you think he could maybe qualify for is your personal assistant, which is something you desperately need. Giving him a test run for the job, he tries everything he can to keep his past a secret but there are people around that seem to know the past that he’s trying to keep hidden from you. Will you find out, and will it end any hope you had of actually giving him the job?

When you were younger, you parents always had this person visit. He was always in a some version of a maid costume and he always came late at night. When you finally got to meet him, you didn’t think there was anything really strange about him. You thought he was prettier when he wasn’t wearing all his makeup and you thought that, no matter how many piercings he seemed to have, they always just interested you. He told you he loved you one day, which was the one strangest thing he ever did, considering your parents never said it to you. Soon, you didn’t see him anymore and, suddenly, you were at an orphanage. He comes to the orphanage one day because he knows someone that works there. You recognize him but he doesn’t recognize you since it’s been so long and with how much you’ve grown up. You cling to him and, since you won’t let go, he decides to finally sit and listen to you. The story between you two finally continues, but only after you can get him to remember.

The relationship between you two had always been physical and, from what you could tell, it seemed that he was getting attached. You didn’t have much time to really think about it because he asked you to stop coming around. You didn’t listen and so he simply began to ignore you. When you really couldn’t get a hold of him anymore, you did the only thing you could do: give up. He gets a temporary job as a delivery boy and knocks on your door with a package. He’s not getting away this time, and it’s been a long time since you’ve had your fill.

He doesn’t exactly seem scary or like he wants to do you harm, but you can’t help it. There’s something about him that creeps you out no matter how many times you see him and no matter how many times he doesn’t do anything to hurt you whenever you cross paths. One day, you get enough courage and call him “weird,” “strange,” etc. He looks angry but it quickly dissipates and he looks like he’s going to cry. You hear him mumble something about hating kids and he tries to get away from you but you just make fun of him some more. You end up making Kuina cry. You didn't even think he could cry and, now, you have to make the choice of trying to console him or to leave him in his pain.
