WHO AM I?
Kyungsoo was born and raised into a family of merchants renowned for their wholesale trading skills across the region. As the only son, he was expected to carry on the family's honorable lineage, but the young boy had a fairly different picture of him in the future, and it's definitely not of him in a merchant robe riding a carriage filled with goods. Instead, he saw himself in a white robe, sleeves rolled up to his elbows with his face covered in flour.
He had spent most of his childhood helping his mother, who was a gardener and a cook, in the kitchen fixing up meals and buffets for when his father and friends would come back from their travels. Kyungsoo enjoyed making meals for them and seeing their smiles when they lean back against their chairs and exclaimed that they had a good meal. It gave him a certain amount of satisfaction.
His father, of course, wasn't very keen on the idea of his only son prancing around in the kitchen, but he knew better not to refrain Kyungsoo from doing what he does best. Therefore, with the help of an insider, his father found him an opportunity to serve as the royal cook of the palace. And so began his life as the head cook of the royal bloodline of Grasslands.
