Taemin is a nekomata a yokai in a form of a cat. In ancient times, nekomatas where used to protect temples, farms, houses and sometimes even used for civil wars but at population and technology grow they were forgotten until they were seen as Japanese folklore. Many nekomatas accepted that and hides in the mountains where they feed of wild animals or lost human, others nekomatas though were mad at the humans and destroyed many villages until they were either satisfied or killed by guards and the minority decided to live among humans in their cat form or human form. Nekomatas can change into 4 stages, human form pass inadvertently among the humans, cat-human form a human with cat ears and tail, cat form to live like domestic cats,and his real form a big feline with two tails.
Even if his ancestors where forgotten by humans leaving them lonely, sad and mad , Taemin is very friendly and cheerful. He can do anything to make people happy especially his loved ones. He tend to compliment people out of nowhere and is very gentle making him get in uncomfortable situations since people then to misunderstand his acts like flirting. He's a loyal friend and counselor you can tell your problems and he'll listen attentive and even give you one or two advises. Currently, he's working as a forensic pathologist using regularly his power of necromancy to help him on his work.

Taemin has the power of necromancy that means he can revive, manipulate and communicate with the deceased either by summoning their spirit as an apparition or raising them bodily.
He can also summon blue fireballs that can never be extinguished unless he wants to.
When he's on his real form he gets super strength, velocity and his senses like sight, smell and sound are incredible incremented.
