BACKGROUND
It's easy to be a total up, but it's difficult to get out of it. Some people would say Francisco unfortunately fell into that category the moment he was born. Unfortunately his mother was already a up herself and met his father, a successful married guy with a ed up personality. Francisco's father never saw the boy's mother as a serious commitment. She was only a toy for him whenever he visited Brazil for business trips and vacations. She was only an escape from his busy work and family life. However, once Francisco was born, the spoiled princess mother he had insisted that his father had to take responsibility for the baby boy.
After his father's wife found about Francisco, she packed her bags and took their kids with her. At that moment, Francisco's mother swooped in and stole that open spot. She packed her and Francisco's bags and moved up to LA when the little boy was four. She wasn't going to let another woman get in her way of gaining the riches she and her little boy deserved. From the moment the plane landed onto US soil, she became the trophy wife she always dreamed of being and her son, a little prince, to her eyes.
When Francisco arrived in his bedroom in his new home for the first time, his father only hugged him and left for the rest of the day. It was then, he realized what his life was going to be like as he was surrounded by brand new toys and expesnive clothes with his resentful half-siblings staring at him from the doorway. Despite his young age, he knew things would be lonesome. As his father continued with his career as a successful businessman, Francisco's mother continued her pampered life as a trophy wife. His siblings resented him. Meanwhile the little boy was raised like a little prince in the wild west. He barely had to lift a finger. He could do whatever he wanted and liked to no ends. After all, no one was really going to stop him. His family set standards for him, but they never taught him the rules to reach those levels.
High school was filled with years of him partying, but still making As. That's that mattered at the time. In college though, he didn't have a sense of direction. All he knew was that he wanted to one up his half siblings, who continued to hold their against him for something he just happened to be the result of. So he decided to major in business just like them. Maybe beat them at their own game for once.
As usual his parents applauded him for his choices, taking credit for this even though he did this all on his own. During those years, he did some art and picked up a few bad habits. It wouldn't be a surprise if he worked on new art pieces and wrote while smoking a joint after finishing a project for his marketing major. If not, he spent his nights drinking from dusk to dawn. He also continued with one of his favorite things, traveling and finding new things.
During his last semester of college, Francisco's father insisted he join the family company ike his siblings, which the young man couldn't resist. Finally he was in the same playing field with his siblings, seeing who could win their father's favors. Even though Francisco was in his good graces, it wasn't like his old man paid attention to him. Until now. Francisco was becoming a hotshot within the company not because of his father, but because of his own skill. He was able to seal negotiations and grabs deals like no other. He had finally proven himself worthy to his father, to the dissatisfaction of many around him.
Despite his success, the young man still had some issues of his own. Mainly his penchant for booze and women. After pictures of him sleeping with a rival's wife were released, Francisco's father knew that it was going to ruin things a bit. Only seven months into the job, he sent his son transferred his son to a new department. A job that required him to travel for "business". It was meant to keep Francisco on the low until the news and tension blew over. After his transfer, Francisco decided to travel around the world for a bit. Let out some steam if anything.
His parents easily agreed to this, thinking that it would make their little prince happy and hopefully tame him before he returned to the company. At first things seemed to go well. He was content and his parents were happy because of this. Francisco continued with his ventures around the world, but it was in Korea that he experienced another change. He met someone.
Falling for a particular girl, he thought that he found the one. She was the one who grounded his spoiled and made him want to change for the better. It was because of her, he told his parents he didn't want to return. At first, they revolted about this. However, they did nothing once again thinking that their boy would return to his senses. All they could do was support him financially just to make sure he would survive and not end up on the street in the meantime. A month into a few years. Finally his relationship ended with the girl due to the storminess that was deeply rooted in their relationship. It didn't help too that that the two of them started cheating and getting violent with each other.
Now he's living in Seoul alone and running his popular hookah bar in Hongdae. Every night, people can see him there running things and visiting tables with a drink in hand and mouth tip tucked behind his ear. Sometimes he might be playing his guitar at the bar of his place, entertaining his customers and friends. When he's not busy being an owl, he enjoys exploring around Korea or hanging out in Itaewon. If not, he'll just be working on new art pieces.

PERSONALITY
One could say that Francisco is a complex individual. It's easy to call him spoiled based on his personality and upbringing. After all, he is used to instantly getting whatever he wants. Even though it's not always like that anymore, he's trying his best to adjust to this. Despite his spoiled attitude though, people find him to be pretty independent and ambitious. After all not having anyone to really raise him properly, aside from the his family's staff and nannies, he had to teach himself many things about life. Sometimes his self taught lessons get him into trouble because he doesn't really know what to do.
He's the type of guy who wants to take responsibility for things because he believes that's what right. He believes in doing what's right, but he'll break the rules sometimes. In addition, he considers himself to be pretty loyal and protectives of those he cares about. Sometimes he's a softie, which can land him in trouble too. However, he does have a temper that can snap at anytime. If anything, he's still like a kid at times.

Maybe working in a hookah bar was not your first choice for a job. However, Francisc's place was the only place that accepted you at the time. In addition, it's in Hongdae, the center of nightlife and all things fun. So it's somewhat of a plus. Well that's you try to tell yourself as you're working here.

With your covering your mouth that night, you were struggling to find the closest bathroom nearby to puke. Luckily, a somewhat less drunk Francisco was nearby to help you find the bathroom. He patted your back that night and helped you get back to your place. Since then the two of your have been best friends since college while you were both in LA. Now with the both of you in Seoul, you try to help him out like he used to do for you. After all that's what friends are for.

If there's one thing about Francisco, he's always on it when it comes to money. So when he lent you a few thousand, he thought he was going to have it back at some point. Curious, Francisco decides to help.
