In many ways he was an anomaly born to parents who had been diagnosed as infertile by every clinic they visited. They had once longed for a child a little boy they could call their own and watch as he grew to become someone they would be proud of.
But alas like all things in life the wanton dreams of mortals didn't always come true and when they did it was sometimes morphed into a nightmare the details of such an existence coming into question and deliberation. So on the night he was born of tears and blood the revelation of his birth was revealed - a bastard child he was born of a whoresome mother and a drunken father nothing like the regal man who had headed the household.
Their pride too heavy they eventually decided to keep the babe under the pretense that he had been born to them both a wholesome marriage brought together by the birth of a healthy baby boy. The house was a pristine image that all in town could recognize a beautiful slender mother and her handsome husband and the beautiful boy they brought up in their footsteps.
But like all things that held an image of purity the façade was strong and what the neighborhood assumed to be a happy child was in fact a young boy abused and tormented by his own parents talked down upon by his mother as though he were the reason for the breakout of their marriage. And his father... or rather sir as he had been reprimanded to call him merely saw him as a smudge of dirt a reminder of the drunken affair his mother had carried out and the inconvenience of both their lives.
A life of pain and distrust it was no wonder that he grew to doubt anybody who spoke to him believing that the laughs and compliments were simple mockeries to what he stood for having been beaten to submission by his parents his mind warped with the belief that he was below human - a dog simply breathing for the purpose of giving flowers life. School was a near nightmare the students both fearing him and believing him to be one of the prettiest boys they had ever seen something which brought both admiration and mockery.
His life a mere shadow of forecasted doom he never relished in the few friends he did have always believing they would be better off without his company lest something happen to them that could be acquainted to his own curse. Still with the childish belief that he would someday make his parents proud he went through university striving to become a nurse and a helpful one at that and alas with everything working against him he achieved his dreams at the age of 21 one of the youngest graduates in the profession especially in the area he had decided to specialize in.
Having heard about the Asylum he decided to work there after realizing he could finally help someone even if his own achievements had never mended his relationship with his parents. Harboring the hope of finding these lost souls find their way and perhaps cure them of their illnesses he works towards a goal of finding salvation and guiding as many people as possible with him..
