Driegvale the last bastion of the abyss.
A lone sphere of life set drifting in the void between worlds, it drags with it a magical gravity pulling in lost souls attempting to cross the void to their afterlife. Along with the stray traveler or anyone unfortunate enough to be teleporting at the time that it pulses. The enormous sphere is mostly barren but a little more than a quarter of it is fully inhabitable and that's where your story may begin. If you were a lost soul the world will grant you your body back once but after this your soul won't survive you dying again. And if you were a lost traveler or unlucky teleporter you can consider yourself lucky because you have 2 chances to survive here. The world has bustling kingdoms and thousands of miles of unexplored terrain but it is also inhabited by the beasts of the void. Terrifying creatures that can only be killed in direct sunlight otherwise they come back stronger each time.
The world is primarily inhabited by a little bit of everything. Everything from Humans to Elves to Cryptids to even Angels, Demons, and other supernatural beings. Lycanthropes and Vampires even. These creatures manage to live in harmony and even frequent local bars together at night.
Magic has an enormous prevalence in this world along with the rogue gunslinger. Though in this world modern firearms aren't very effective.
