Led Zeppelin was formed by Jimmy Page, a guitarist who was previously in the band the Yardbirds. He was friends with bassist John Paul Jones aka Jonesy since they worked together before the Yardbirds disbanded and the two of them decided to form a band of their own. Jimmy started looking for vocalists and a drummer and had received a tip from a friend about a man with the voice of a rock god yet seduced on stage like the devil himself. Jimmy checked it out and found Robert Plant. He auditioned him briefly and soon enough Robert was in the band and had brought along his best friend the drummer who he had also performed in clubs with... John Henry Bonham aka Bonzo. Led Zeppelin was soon formed and after their debut in 1969, the band have been trailblazers in classic rock. Bonzo hit his drums with ferocity, Jonesy played his bass loudly with skill, Jimmy played guitar riffs that would become famous and familiar to millions, and Robert sang like a rock god with fervor and rasp. The band was famous and rightfully so... but what if there was a slight change? What if these trailblazers of rock music were actually women instead of men? How would they fare in the music industry of the 70s? Let's find out, shall we?
