ALfheim Online, or the World of the Fairies, is the biggest VRMMORPG of the time.
Imagine, putting a gaming visor over your head, and you instantly have another, better you in a virtual world of fairies. You're free to fly the skies, explore new places, and kill other players. Life goes on normally, with the exception of the pointy ears and the wings. Players can do just about anything in this world.
The World Tree is where the ruthless King of the Fairies lives, keeping his Queen captive high above the skies. It is every fairy's mission to get to the top of the World tree. However, many have deemed it nearly impossible to reach the tyrant and his hostage up there in the boughs of the giant tree. Flights for any race can be no longer than ten minutes without a break, but the fairy that reaches the top will be above all the rest, able to fly for however long they please, and to rule as nobility from above.
