puppet masters
Puppet Masters are the people who wish to live in harmony with puppets and are lucky enough to win a puppet's favor. They then become the puppet's master. The puppet swears to protect their master until death, the master swears to never abandon the puppet. In proof of their contract, the master gives the puppet something precious of them, such as a ring, necklace etc. The puppet's name becomes a tattoo on their master's hand.
Puppet Masters and puppets become spiritually intertwined when the contract is made between them. This allows the master and puppet to communicate telepathically. When the master is hurt, the puppet shares their pain. If the puppet is not wearing their item that signifies their contract, both begin to loose power until it is replaced or found. If a master betrays the puppet, their puppet slowly begin to die until their master comes back from their betrayal. If not, the puppet will be forced into a frozen state until their master returns.
PUPPETS
Puppets are the race of creatures that come from the original five created by the witch Shutai. They don't age physically and if they don't have a master, they can live in perfect health. If they become attached to a human and accept them as their master, they become intertwined to that person.
Ancestry
•Envy - The first puppet to be created by Shutai. Descendants of Envy are usually wise, mature and strive to be better than everyone. Their element is Earth. Their powers include; Controlling Plants, Breathing underwater, Manipulating water and plants, Talking to Animals (anything along these lines).
•Sorrow - The second puppet to be created by Shutai. Descendants of Sorrow are usually timid, shy and like to be left in the background. They are said to be the hardest puppets to bond with. Their element is Air. Powers include; Flight, Creating Force Fields, Telekinesis, Bending Air (anything along these lines).
•LOVE - The third puppet to be created by Shutai. Descendants of Love are usually charming, lovable, romantics. Their element is Fire. powers include; Controlling fire, Duplication, Super Speed (anything along these lines).
•happiness - the fourth puppet created by the shutai. descendants of happiness are usually charming, happy-go-lucky, optimistic and are people pleasers. Easiest to bond with. their element is light. powers include; Manipulating Light, Technopathy (basically manipulate technology), Empathy Sensing (anything along these lines).
•shadow - The last puppet to be created by Shutai. Descendants of Shadow are usually mysterious and go by ulterior motives. Their element is Darkness. powers include; Manipulation of Darkness, Echolocation, Invisibility (anything along these lines).

note: just because you are a descendant of a certain puppet does not mean your personality needs to be the complete same. A descendant of sorrow could be the happiest person ever, make things interesting!
GOVERNMENT
The government exists to supposedly bring order to to the shattered world. But, really they are just a power hungry cooperation that is trying to do things for the good of themselves. Some of the officials are good-hearted and are unaware of the plans of higher up. They are merely doing their job.
Being afraid of the puppets and puppet master's potential power, the government has decided that they need to be wiped from the face of the planet. And because they have access to everything they could possibly need, they believe it'll be a piece of cake.
Officials Needed:
• President: The man or woman in charge of everything. Gives out the orders to the other officials and intends to see it done. In their lifetime, the puppets will hopefully be destroyed.

• Secretary: Offers advice to the President and is in charge of information, making sure that the public hears what the president wants, and the president knows everything.

• General of the Army: Pretty self explanatory. Controls the army under the president's command and is the prime source of hunting down puppets and their masters.
