@Park Kyungri Sunggyu released an inaudible relieved sigh; this girl didn't seem to notice, and he nodded. Her place was near the Grautaz building... now he had to wonder if this was mere coincidence. Sadly, he was in no place to ask around; it might draw more suspicion towards him, and that was the last thing he wanted to do.

Kim Sunggyu never came to this island.

Besides, 'Paul' would enter the company itself in a few days' time, and hopefully, get the information they needed first-hand. He had spent two months in preparation not for nothing.

"Your place is in this area?" He asked, looking back at her. In the dimness of their surroundings, there were little he could make out. Sera seemed harmlessㅡbut he'd never know.

@Park Kyungri Right. What could a well-known pharmaceutical company have to do with all of these? It wouldn't make any sense, trueㅡbut the disappearance of his own mother after a distress call made to him... now that was seriously disturbing.

The rustling made the male react by turning his head sharply to the direction, but he laughed all the same when the creature came out and ran. "Now I think we're both paranoid, Sera-sshi," he said, chuckling lightly.

"Quietness is better, though. If the murderer is out and about, it's best not to hinder our hearing..."

Oops. Was he too obvious? Slowly, he took out his hand that had went to the inside pocket of his jacket.

No ordinary tourist carry a gun and was that quick in reaction; that is, if she actually caught the meaning of his moves.

Grautaz had set the place, too, by the phone message he received earlier. It made him doubly tense, even more so when he looked up and realized they were near the company building itself.

Of course, his eyes were fkxed at the huge neon 'GRAUTAZ' letters on top of the building.

"Just... stay close, okay?"

@Park Kyungri "Good question..." Sunggyu trailed off grimly as he followed her outside. The cold bite of the outside air greeted him, and he fixed the collar of his black jacket. There was only one name of a company that he could link to the murders, but it was a very far-fetched conclusion—he had no proof whatsoever.

The male took a deep breath, taking out his vibrating phone just as she made the remark, and he chuckled at how apt the timing was.

"Safety first and foremost," was his only answer, only looking at the screen for not more than two seconds before sliding the device back into his pocket.

Another deep breath as they walked the quiet streets.

"I have a bad feeling about this whole murder thing..."

@Park Kyungri Ten victims, mutilated as if attacked by feral monsters... it gnawed in his mind. Sunggyu had his eyes on this island for some time - well, ever since the mysterious death of his mother some time after her visit. He couldn't find the connection, but his instinct told him there was something.

He just had to try.

"Biochem field is fun, from my own experience." Sunggyu grinned faintly; it was indeed, if he didn't know that it can be very dangerous if used the wrong way.

But it seemed that she realized the danger - what will the real Paul say? He nearly blurted out that it was his case. Luckily, he didn't.

"...Lead the way," he nodded in the end, not giving away anything else.

@Park Kyungri If Sunggyu actually can choose his own English name, Paul would be a second choice. But no, he'd rather not be associated with that mad scientist whom BSAA currently investigated on - that is, if he had the choice. The problem was that he didn't.

Of course, that real Paul has a Korean name, too; it was part of his disguise that he didn't mention it, for the real one rarely does.

"Is it a bad thing to seem unique?" He chuckled, keeping his tone light and /seemingly/ free of worry. The golden rule when you have to hide something was never to let even the smallest hint show.

"Nice to meet you too, Sera." Fake or not, he didn't give it a second thought. But he sure would not forget the face anytime soon, either.

"The biochemistry essay? Good luck with that, then." He gave her a small, knowing grin. "I prefer going straight to the field."

Grautaz, to be exact. May he come out alive.

It was more of a statement made to himself, though it had also hinted that he was working on a similar subject. He had read the book she bought, even, for the sake of his disguise. But looking at the suspicious 'psychopath' murders that were happening lately... well, it's not that he didn't have his own theory of Grautaz's involvement, he only did not believe it.

Talking about psychopath murders, though...

"...Be careful on your way, okay? Or should I you home?"

@Park Kyungri "You're welcome," Sunggyu said lightly, shrugging with a small grin. He never specialize in biochemistry, but someone like him doesn't ever need a master's degree to be somewhat of a biochemistry expert. Had he not been a BSAA agent or the scientist he was before that, he might have considered teaching. Her words brought a soft chuckle to him, though.

"Am I that noticeable?" He asked, tilting his head slightly. Normally, he would joke about himself being a secret agent in disguise and how he should not even be noticeable at all - but certainly, not with someone he doesn't know.

Though, if he had known that she associated him with James Bond, he'd probably agree; after all, even he could see the similarity. To him, deception was second nature - in a lot of cases.

Even the identity that he was using in this place was fake, anyway.

"Well, since I seem to meet a very friendly person here - hello. You can call me Paul. I'm only visiting this island for business." He said. "May I know your name?"

@Park Kyungri Biochemistry, eh...

That was the only thought running inside Sunggyu's mind at the sight of the book the girl brought from the bookstore. Coincidence or not, only God knows. But oh, he knows the typical science students. Buried in their books most of the time, not caring about the outside world - he had been a part of that group before.

"Interesting subject, biochemistry." He grinned. She was actually quite pretty, if he has to judge; and it made him realize that he was unconsciously checking on her.

But of course.

Something about her reminded him of that pretty working colleague of his...

"Is there anything I can help, miss?"

@Park Kyungri Sunggyu checked his watch. It was suspicious; almost felt as if SARS was spreading again. But this time, he realized it could be something very much worse.

It doesn't make sense, he thought, sighing a bit. They had set the next day for the meeting. Why would they release it now? Or did they manage to find the cure?

Or did they not care at all? Sunggyu wanted to think that it wasn't Grautaz's doing, but looking at his surroundings, he couldn't help but be suspicious.

The male agent had looked like the tourist he was, shedding away his scientist image - well, it might be his last day of freedom. Once he entered Grautaz, it would be a questionable thing whether he could get out of there alive. And he intended to give himself a holiday.

Just for a day.

Someone was walking towards him then; the girl looked his age, though with the way she carried herself, it looked like she was still in school -- there you go again with the habit of observing, Sunggyu, he chided himself. But really, having a photographic memory, a year could pass and perhaps he wouldn't forget.

Why did he even paid attention to her particularly? Only he knew the answer. But all he did was meeting her gaze, and calmly, he nodded in greeting.

She looked like... /someone/.

Kurthoustine continue what he was doing until the red light came on and warning signal is keep on beeping "warning, code red, I repeat code red" He was shocked.. He found his bag and take his precious experiment that he was working on.. "I know this will happen... damn them for trusting that guy!" He knows who's fault it is..from the moment he saw the amateur guy messing with the chemical inside the laboratory.. he runs outside carrying blue, green and red liquids.. its not the cure but probably explosive liquids that he could protect himself from the enemies..

he run until his lungs needs oxygen, he's out of the danger zone but his mind knows this is a start of something horrific. his mind remember a precious woman, he would never wanted to be hurt.. and his feet starts moving again.. leading him to his lover's house..

She didn't know his name. The statement wasn't out of disrespect; it was the heat of the moment. His life was in danger, yet he continued to move towards his supposed "objective". There was a door before him and the SOA Operative, and there was a loud noise booming within their surroundings. It was coming from the very door he was trying to open.

"Shut up!" the man clad in a BSAA uniform retorted, looking back at the woman. "My team is in there!"

"Your team is dead, man! Don't you get it?! Can you not hear what's happening? Do NOT open that door, that's an order!"

Although she wasn't head of his unit, Sable Cross was still a higher rank. She would've expected him to at least think about what she was saying.

And he did.

But the hesitation wasn't for very long. In the blink of an eye, the soldier dashed for the door, causing Sable to widen her eyes.

"No, you idiot!"

Of course, it was too late. The doors were free to fly open, as they did to the swing of the soldier's arms. In the large room was a large inhuman being, it's hand raised high. With a sharp scream, the soldier was smacked down into the floor with a thunderous smack. Sable looked away before she glared.

"So that's the BOW that was clearing house...." Readying her assault rifle, she looked down at the fallen soldier. A sigh escaped her lips as her eyes quickly shifted back to the beast. "Hope it was worth it, soldier."
