@Soraka Jackson simply nodded at her words. There were days where he felt the same way. When he was younger, his mother always talked of a higher power that protected all of mankind basically an unknown hero in a way you could say. But, where was this so called 'Hero' that his mother talked so fondly of? Why wasn't he here protecting and saving everyone? "I understand what you mean," He exclaimed quietly, a light breeze ruffling his dark hair which he ignored. "My mother used to tell me stories about a hero of higher power that watched over all of us...heh some hero he is right? If he does exist, why is he making all of us suffer and deal with so much bloodshed and death?" He clenched his fists tight at his sides. Shifters like him were treated like the scum of the Earth: Hardly anyone stuck up for them, even though they were also fighting for humanity. Some anyway were.

"...The wind's changing." He began, getting into position. "Can you feel it miss? There's a change in the air."

He his lips nervously, something he always did out of habit. This feeling he had was exactly the same he felt during Shiganshina and Trost as he prepared his swords. Eyes full of nervousness and fear. Hands clenching and unclenching. "This is going to be bad..." He whispered out loud.

@Jackson Kang She nodded, "I was." Soraka listened attentively to his words and sighed. "You're welcome. No one deserves that kind of treatment. Accidents happen, right?" She could feel the corners of her lips curling upward, though she wasn't exactly smiling. She tore her gaze away from the male and looked up, toward the sky, scowling. "The large sky which accepts all. The large sky that keeps all the elements of the earth calm and in harmony, eh? Why hasn't the sky been doing its job, I wonder. Why aren't we living in peace with other people and titans?" She let out a small tsk and looked back down, eyes analyzing the city below. "Ignore my rambling. After all, you wouldn't know the answers to these questions. Only the sky would."

The big blue sky that she was named after. Soraka questioned it. If the sky accepts all and left out no one, why were there abnormals? Like the Titan shifters. Why were they left out? Hated by society for being part of what they feared; indifferent to the titans, just more food for that them. She furrowed her eyebrows, deep on thought. She didn't like how the shifters were treated by society. Rather than being seen as heroes; which many of them were, they were seen as monsters. People should know by now that shifters and originals were different. Originals ate humans for fun. Shifters were making conscious decisions, fighting the originals and were fighting for humanity.

'One day,' she thought, 'one day, the sky will recognize it's mistake, and one day, we will all live in harmony.'

It was one of her only wishes.

@Soraka He nearly jumped out of his skin when he felt her hand place itself on his shoulder, sighing in relief. "Oh. Um thank you...so I take it you were there when I-well, you know?" Jackson cringed inwardly at the memory. True he didn't eat anyone but he certainly caused a lot of damage with only minor deaths. "I don't know how it happened: One minute everything was fine and the next, w-well you know." The dark haired male bit his lip gently, ruffling his own hair a bit before grinning lightly back at the girl. "But I appreciate you scaring them off like that. It means a lot trust me..."

This girl was one of the few who actually bothered to go near him, he wanted to make sure he had at least a few people still on his side. After doing some tests from the researchers, he discovered this ability of his happened under imense, stressful situations or if something triggering happened.

@Jackson Kang Soraka stared at him with eyes of pity. He was one of the few shifters, the ones that were discriminated against. She eyed him up and down before sighing, the poor kid. Her eyes wandered around and studied the others; all staring, whispering, and pointing. A few of the comments really crossed the line, even. Soraka still didn't understand; it's not like he ate people or anything. Why did everyone hate him so much?

"OI!" She shouted, bringing all attention towards herself, "SHUT THE UP AND IN' GET BACK TO WORK!" Her eyes narrowed and she let out a small "tsk" when a few others continued to stare dumbly. Soraka kicked the wall behind her, making a huge dent before turning back around and addressing those still staring. "That'll be your faces if you don't get back to work in five, four, three, two-"

She smirked. There wouldn't need to be any face breaking today.

Soraka walked up to the shifter, frowning when she head his words. She put a hand on his shoulder. "You're not a monster."

Jackson could feel the stares and hear the whispers of disgust as he stood atop the wall of Hermiha with some of his fellow comrads sticking by him. "Hey why's someone like him in the Survey Corps?" He heard someone sneer, making his fists clench and teeth grit with anger. "He should be executed if you ask me. I'd personally be glad to pull the plug on him after all the damage he'd done."

"Shhh! Be quiet you idiot. He might get angry and shift again!" A young girl said in a fearful voice shutting her friend up.

There were only a few people Jackson had left, he didn't want to lose them because of what he was. He had to keep himself under control at all costs if he didn't want to go beserk again. "I'll show them," He murmured, still keeping a look out for the Colossal Titan. "I'll show them I'm not a monster."
