@[★] H. ZiTao "Morbid but it is a bit humorous," she mused, sitting back and relaxing into the chair with a small sigh of content. "These, my good sir," she motioned to the pills, "are the ultimate illusion. It's construction much like the pill contraceptives. Tricking your brain is one of the easiest tasks imagined and this tricks it into thinking it is in a state of sleep." She paused, lost in though for a moment as she briefly saw the side affects, the down sides to too many. "It's what keeps me hear I suppose - I just thought I should leave no question in why a scientist is in her lab all night long. Careful General - 'tis awfully late and that execution is tomorrow. Rest up for the joyous day." Boa smiled coyly, and left it at that; she was a mystery to be solved, and enigma to understand, and that's what she loved most.

@[♞] K. BoA "welll thats lovely info to know." he states, his lips briefly becoming a line.
"why are you telling me all that? And what is that?" huge motions to the small box she set out, having never seen it before.

@[★] H. ZiTao Shifting and pulling a drawer open, Boa produced a small box, similar to an Altoids mint container and set it before him. "I do not stay here in the day; I stay the night. No one thinks I'd be here and there are uninterrupted hours of research, development, testing, progress." She hums blithely, adding shortly after, "I look for knowledge, not for play, and this Laboratory is my love in my own hands - everything is controled by my lightest touch of the reigns, and I'm authorized access to this facility via DNA recognition. Everyone is equipt with a key to this room, but in code reds - I'm the only body that anyone will need to open this lab, granted my cells are still living."

@[♞] K. BoA He nodded. "I'll let the last one linger in that case..let him beg to have it be done and over with.." he grinned, white teeth showing through as he straightened the paper reports and watched her play with the pen.
"Crowds..I see. That's no problem. Do what you need to do then Ms. Kwon." he nods, suddenly feeling the chill of the room on his skin sink deeper.
"Do you spend all day in here?" he inquired, a random question, and he realized he was probably being too free with her, staying this long..perhaps he should return with the papers. The Council didn't approve of idle talk here often.."

@[★] H. ZiTao "The resources put into it aren't worth it - the acid is deemed tainted, and in the end, it's simply disposed of..." She murmured - Boa was irked by the practices implemented at the facility. More and more conservation should be done, but over the years, there's only been more and more wastage. It brought irritation to her - much like a Bunsen burner to a vial, it boiled her on the inside, knowing that the scientists were at ease for some reason. Science wasn't play - it was knowledge.
"Wonderful... Wonderful. Thank you, General Huang." Boa then looked about and played with the pen between her fingers in thought. Tomorrow morning she was supposed to be up early to explore the data bases "Perhaps I shall be there... more towards the end, granted you're out to take your time. But otherwise, I have commitments. I tend to not like crowds..." Boa revealed, the words a bit bitter, something hidden between the letters and the lines.

@[♞] K. BoA "Just set the skull in some chemical with a low-mid acidity, any and all bacteria would be cleansed and the skull wouldn't be a biohazard." he states swiftly. "After all, maggots may clean the flesh but they leave the bacteria and their own waste." he explains, "but ofcourse I'll bring one for you tomorrow then." he nods, making mental note of her request.
"Song Qai-lyn. I'll be sure to have her brought promptly to you." he speaks, correcting her indirectly of her gender assumption.
"I like to play with my food. Never one for manners really." he remarks, setting the files down and crossing his arms, he could spare a few minutes.
"Will you be present for the executions? i know most of the Science Staff will be. The soldiers won't be allowed to see the actual execution, but they will see the corpses as they're dragged out of camp to the dumping site further North."
[♞] K. BoA [A] 9 years ago
@[★] H. ZiTao "Contamination concerns and the fact that too many variables are involved in having an exposed skull... It's a shame really - leaving bones within a maggot's environment cleans the bone of all flesh within 48 to 72 hours." She rattled off, matter of factly, sparing the skull an amused glance before looking up with interest. "Oh... Is that so? In that case, is it possible that you could leave one of their skulls intact? I suppose a real skull with a fiberglass coating would be avoiding contamination without losing the fun... And the one who did this handiwork...," she pointed to the picture a small smile growing bit by bit, "I want to investigate his brain. His skull doesn't have to be intact - avoid electrocution though."
Her expression slowly faded as she jotted some notes down about the aforementioned method of execution before setting her pen down and leaning back in her chair with a small, contented, dark smile. "You have three souls... finish them off as you please. I can ask someone else for specimens - I was looking to kill two birds with a single stone, though. No point in wasting men that could be put to work."
[★] H. ZiTao [A] 9 years ago
@[♞] K. BoA "Oh that's rather unfortunate for me as well..." he murmured, disappointed, "why would a fake skull be in a facility like this...I'd expect everything to be real. Perhaps I'll drop one by as a gift." he mused, moving to put the skull aside and pick up the files, flipping through the pages, observing the stamps, data, and information of the three he had executed. He leaned himself against the desk as he looked over the reports.
Hearing her musing he cast her a glance, but just barely.
"be there?" he would laugh if he had a sense of emotion alive in him, "I'm the one whose going to give them." he speaks, his voice rather matter of fact.
"I've been debating on how merciful I want them to be...a quick, boring death, or a slower one so I could have time to play with the new toys."
[♞] K. BoA [A] 9 years ago
@[★] H. ZiTao "Atop my desk - don't mind the skull but it should be under that..." She hummed softly, dark gaze then moving over to another set of specimens - various organs free floating with in jars lit by a blue light from above. Eerie, but Boa liked it. Most other patients found the labs to be haunting, and in a hence, it was her protection: her haven. "Unfortunately for me, perhaps fortunately for you - the skull isn't real, General - that aside, I bid you a good day," she greeted without sparing him much of a glance. She was too enamored by the animal specimens within the jars, and couldn't help but wonder, "Could human bodies be rearranged to mimic animals...? Interesting... Tomorrow, we'll see." Boa decided and stepped back from the displays.
Instead, she returned to her ornate seat, and reviewed the pictures of a few mangled corpses. "To have a heart shoved down their throat is an impressive feat... Are you going to be there to watch the executions, by any chance?" She asked curiously, her mind wandering as would a childs'.
[★] H. ZiTao [A] 9 years ago
@[♞] K. BoA It was late, and as most nights went, the Camp's General found no rest in sleep. His leather boots tapped and scrunched as he walked. His suit still on, the fabric warmed from his body. Badges decorated his jacket, as he approached a lab that still had a dim light on.
He rose a hand, standing straight, eyes focusing on the name before he reached for his ID card and swiped it along the scanner, placing his thumb on a scanner and then getting a retinal scan.
The pressurized door slid open with a hiss, and he walked through, instantly moving to find the Scientist who was in charge of the lab at this hour.
"Lieutenant, have the report files from this afternoon's executions been prepared?"
His voice cut the silence, and his eyes took in all the jars and other specimens around the room. The stench didn't bother him, used to blood and gore as he was. And the body parts? Oh they only made him curious and had his eyes shine as he wondered if by tomorrow, the soldiers he'd exterminated today would be torn apart limb by limb and also have their organs drowned in preservatives as a trophy..oh how he'd gladly dismantle the corpses for the scientists..
But his gaze soon snapped back to the female Scientist.
"There should be three names. Three files. I have orders from headquarters to transfer the files digitally to them."
[♞] K. BoA [A] 9 years ago
@[★] H. ZiTao It was deathly quiet in the laboratory; it made Boa wonder what exactly it meant to be "deathly quiet": was it the silence that acted as a tool to instigate self destructing thoughts? Or was it that the silence itself was brought about by death. Was it the stench that filled the air? Was it that silence that left your ears ringing?
Boa sat pondering late in the hours of the night, her small laboratory seeming vast with it's white walls and the specimens lining it. Jars of mentally ill brains - swollen and more swollen the worse they got - were the closest specimens and they lined the wall behind her desk.
Standing from her chair, Boa's lab pristine coat crinkled ever so slightly (having been washed and ironed with starch to make it crisp) and eradicated the silence.
"Knowledge is power..." She mused, her finger tips brushing past the smooth, amber tinted glass of the specimens' containers, "but why does brute strength end up being the ultimate winner? ... It takes lives, and hurts others." She murmured to herself, morbidly curious and ironically, 'dying to know.' "Knowledge... Brawn... Knowledge or brawn?"
