Disciplinary Room

@Choi Minho "I am sure it is. He usually doesnt touch her but when he does it is pretty bad."
Jimin knew how bad his father could be, sadly. Usually he was home and could take care of her but this time he had been here and this made him feel bad, guilty. Even though it was not his fault.
He nodded when Minho said he had to take notes.
"I... dont know," he said honestly. "His friend, probably. But I dont know about the parents."

@Park Jimin Minho nodded. "Must be very traumatic to be beaten up so bad... I think you should include your mother's mental state in your story. If she is there, she already confirms that." Minho got out a notebook and scribbled some stuff down. "Sorry, I need to make notes. I don't only want to help you, mister Park, but I promise I also WILL help you." He looked up from his paper when he got all of it down in keywords. "You can't make him stay away forever. Does his friend's parents know about the situation?"

@Choi Minho "I am not sure if she will confirm," Jimin said quietly and chewed on his lip. "I don't think she is in a good mental state." He looked slightly helplessly at the teacher, feeling sorry for burdening him. "Mostly she is kind of... lethargic. She doesn't get up, she doesn't answer when you talk to her."
She didn't even cook, did anything in the household but he wasn't surprised with such a man by her side - sometimes Jimin wondered if she was still here.
"He is 16. I have him over at a friend at the moment," Jimin said and his lips. "I... don't want him to get beat up by this man as well. He is my little brother, I need to protect him."
But Minho was right - if they did not go to the police this man wouldn't stop, probably. Why should he?
"I just... I want him to stay away but you are the first person even believing me properly."

@Park Jimin Minho inhaled and exhaled deeply. The story got his short temper pretty worked up and if it was scientifically possible, there would've come steam out of his nose as he exhaled. "You said your mother is now only in the hospital because of your request. I suggest you two go to the police together, with your brother. Also, I wouldn't mind going with you. If you tell the police exactly the same as what you told me, I can even confirm it for you." Minho took a slow breath. "How old is your brother actually?"

Jimin took the water bottle, slowly, and held it in his shaking hands. Having something to hold onto was already a bit calming.
He took a shaky breath and chewed on his bottom lip.
"I already were there, at the police. I reported him because of the thing that happened to my mum but they said my mum is in no state to confirm anything and they rather believed my father than me. He said it was an accident, that she fell down the stairs. An as he has a lot of influence they believe him."
He bit his lip, not wanting to talk about the trouble and the beating he received for being a bad song - his bruised wrist and fingers were only a small piece of what really happened. "It is not the first time I went. But they never believe me, no matter what."
He felt like crying but he made sure to stay strong, at least in front of this teacher.

@Park Jimin "You are raised well, mister Park, but thinking negatively about people is also in your human nature." Minho got a water bottle out of his suitcase and handed it to Jimin. "Relax, I will try to do everything I can to help you. I hate to say this, but the police should be informed first. Abuse is a social crime and as citizen, we both are obliged to inform the police. However, I will not do that directly, especially not without your permission. Also, I said we both are obliged, mister Park. You can go to the police yourself or I can go with you, whatever you choose, some way or another it has to happen, because it is are duty as citizens."

[Literally just googled about the Korean law xD]
[I now know more about their law than the one of my own country orz]

@Choi Minho Jimin slowly nodded and looked at the older.
"I was taught not to talk negatively about my parents. My father has a lot of influence and I know I should show respect. But I can't. I have my phone with me all the time just in case my brother texts me that my father is back home and... and..." He broke up and bit his lip. "That was the case last time."
He took a shaky breath and closed his eyes for a moment. "I am scared that he wil hurt my mum badly. Or my brother."

@Park Jimin Minho nodded. He saw Jimin struggling for words. He listened to the words coming out of Jimin's mouth and sighed. "Don't hold back, mister Park. If I were here to judge you, I wouldn't be here to help you. But I am here to help you, therefore you don't have to be afraid of my opinion."

@Choi Minho Jimin slowly shook his head and smiled weakly.
"No. Just a slight concussion but she should be okay in a few days. They are keeping her a bit longer on my request."
He forced a weak smile and chewed on his lip.
He just wanted his family safe and souns but with his father nearby it was dangerous.
"I... he..." Jimin felt at a loss of words. He was taught not to talk badly about his parents so it was hard now. "He is a scary man, a dangerous man. I think he keeps us because he wants to hold onto an image that is not him. But he cheats on my mum and he is really aggressive." He hoped he woupdnt get a scolding for this. He knew he should speak of his father as a man with influence and show respect but he couldnt. Even though not even the police believed the words the boy said.

@Park Jimin Minho noticed the young adult freeze. When the student nodded, he let out the air he didn't know he had captured in his lungs. "I see..." He bit his lip and leaned on the table. When Jimin raised his hand, Minho felt slightly helpless. "Is she in critical conditions?" Minho had many more questions, but he shouldn't put too many of them on the young adult's shoulders. "Mister Park, next to the abusing, what is your view on your father?"

@Choi Minho Jimin looked at the man in front of him, wide eyes and sweaty hands. For a moment he froze and nodded slowly. First it had just been normal punishing, a slap on he , things he could handle and never questioned. But ever since they moved here his father had gotten worse.
"I think he has anger issues." He chewed on his bottom lip and looked at the teacher again, slightly lifting his bandaged hand into the sight of the man.
"She... is in hospital. That was the reason why I left detention a while ago." He forced a weak smile.

@Park Jimin "Wether I may or may not be able to help you, I can always try." Minho needed a few seconds to let the sentence sink in. The bruise on Jimin's cheek was still a bit visible and things slowly clicked into place. "Mister Park, when you were younger, did your father hurt you too?" The question just rolled off his tongue. "I'm sorry, it may be a bit too personal, but I really want to help." Abuse was no joke and Minho knew it. He had seen it before, he had witnessed it. "How is your mother doing now?"

@Choi Minho "I am trying," Jimin said and chewed on his bottom lip, jis hands hidden behind the table - the man did not need to see his bandaged limbs.
"I... dont even know if you can help me, Sir. But I dont have anyone else to go to," he said and his lips nervously. "I am honestly scared that my father will... will hurt my mum so bad that she will die."
He wasnt worried about himself, no. His father had always been quite violent but as long as he stayed away from his brother and mother he was okay.

@Park Jimin Minho noticed the nervousness radiating off Jimin. "Relax, mister Park", he said comfortingly. He adjusted his posture and smiled warmly. "No problem. What did you want to talk about?"

@Choi Minho Jimin nodded slowly and closed the door, slowly sitting down in front of the older one. He was nervous - he was not good in talking about problems, especially not such ones.
He was not even sure if Minho was the right one to talk about but there was no other adult he dared to talk to.
"Thank you," he whispered quietly.

@Park Jimin Minho was quite surprised to se Jimin here. Detention was just finished. When he mentioned talking, he nodded. "Of course, but let's take this to my own classroom." He closed and locked the disciplinary room and motioned Jimin to follow him as he went down the hall to his own classroom. He unlocked it and swiftly moved it. "Don't forget to close the door behind you." He got the two seats in front of his desk off the table and sat at his desk, motioning Jimin to sit across from him.

Jimin was waiting in front of the Disciplinary Room, his lips nervously. He played with the bandage around his hand and wrist, looking up when the kids left the room, giving him weird glances.
He almost decided to leave when, finally the teacher left the room.
"Sir?" he mumbled and looked up to him, chewing on his bottom lip. "Can... uhm... I talk to you?"
He knew that the man wouldnt be able to do a lot but at least he could talk.

@Park Jimin [When you want to do a time skip go ahead. Just be blunt xD]

@Choi Minho "Thank you," Jimin said and smiled a bit more, nodding. "Maybe another time," he nodded and looked at the young teacher. He was thankful for being treated so nicely, especially these days. And yes, he was tired - the teacher was really paying attention.
He smiled and then made his way back home.


[timeskip to Jimin going to Minho for help?]

@Park Jimin Minho nodded. "Go home, you must be tired. If I can't help, I can at least talk and give advice." He patted Jimin on the back and smiled a bit. "Hold on, soldier." With a last nod of goodbye, Minho departed from Jimin and went to his car. WHY DO STUDENTS NEVER OPEN UP?!

@Choi Minho Jimin looked at the man for a while and chewed on his bottom lip.
"I appreciate this, sir, but I don't think you can help me with this matter," he then said, voice soft and even a bit weak. No, he really didn't know how. Minho surely was a good teacher and took good care of his students but he didnt know how the man should help him with this.
He smiled weakly and bowed again.

@Park Jimin Minho took note of his mother being a bit of a sensitive topic. He was happy to see Jimin smile a bit. The dancing really helped to improve the student's mood. "Once again, it's okay. Mister Park, please always remember that I put the students' well-being always on first place. I see some things are bothering you and I want to request you come to me when you need help."

@Choi Minho Jimin looked away when the man mentioned his mother. He didnt want to talk about it, really. Right now his mother was in the hospital anyways and Jimin really hoped they would keep her there for a bit, she was better, safer, there.
"Okay, I will keep your advice in mind," he said and bowed a bit, putting everything back in place and then taking his things.
"I will do my best," he said and smiled slightly. "Thank you, sir. And once again, I am really sorry."

@Park Jimin Minho frowned when Jimin mentioned only having a brother. "What about your mother? Besides, if you don't try to hide your bruise it would give less questions than a badly hidden bruise." Minho shook his head carefully. "No need for ice, I'll be home soon." He waited for Jimin to finish and then locked the door behind them. "Now stay out of trouble, I won't be lenient next time, mister Park." He smiled and patted Jimin on his back.

@Choi Minho Jimin nodded slowly but he was still worried.
"I am so sorry," he repeared and blinked, slowly touching his cheek when the teacher mentionee it. "I cant work with make up. I only have a brother."
He forced a weak smile. "I could get some ice."
He felt so very sorry, he didnt want this to happen. "I will out everything back in place."

@Park Jimin Minho scrunched his face. "All muscles still work, nothign to worry about." He tried to laugh it off, but he knew his cheek was going to be a nice shade of purple blue the next day. "It's okay, I should've watched out." He got up and dusted his suit off. He got his phone out and used it as a mirror. "Well... You will see tomorrow, that I pull the cheek bruise better off than you." He gave Jimin a soft push. "Please put everything back in place. It's time to go, mister Park."

@Choi Minho When Jimin felt his body collide with the teacher all he could think was "oh no, please not", the next moment he ended up falling to the ground.
"Oh my god, I am sorry, Sir," he whimpered and took his earphones out, looking worried at the man. "I am so sorry." He got up and bowed deep.
"Did I hurt you? I am so sorry!"

@Park Jimin Minho looked up once more and smiled at him. The only thing that was going through his mind now was: the rules. At least he will laugh with some random drunk angel in heaven about this.
Time passed and Minho enjoyed the soft music. Jimin's earphone were so loud that even he could hear it from his desk, but he didn't mind. Minho also peeked from time to time. He was no professional, but he could see that Jimin had talent. When the two hours had passed, he packed his belongings and waved to get Jimin's attention, but the student was too caught up in his dancing. Minho sighed and went to pull out the earphones, but he got hit in the face as soon as he got close. "Ouch!"

@Choi Minho Jimin nodded and bowed a bit.
"Yes, Sir," he said and smiled, taking the phone and turning it on. He put his earphones in and turned he music on, concentrating. A classroom was nothing he should practice in but it was a lot better than all the other work he could do.
"Teacher? Thank you," he said before he started dancing.

@Park Jimin Minho looked up. This wasn't in his plan... Okay, he could not give him his phone; that was against the rules. But he let the student dance in his classroom, so he might break the rules even more. Whatever. "Well I guess you need it for educational purposes." He winked and got the phone out of his suitcase. "Here you go, only educational purposes." He kept a playful tone in his voice and turned back to his own work.
