With only it's main tower peaking from the sakura trees, the Tokyo Institute is the most mysterious of them all. It highest tower, also known as "The Clock Tower" has been used as a watch tower in many wars and has helped for their winning. The Shadowhunters in this Institute are taught in technology above all and they are the most innovative.

At the foot of the tower, Alice stood firmly at the doors of the Clock Tower. Yes she was afraid, but she was also exited to make news friends and forget about everything that had happened to her coming up to this point. She didn't want to know why her father had abandoned her and her family when she was a baby and she didn't care about it anymore. She gave up to her mothers request, but had hoped that she would one day meet him and see his face in person. Without further hesitation, Alice had entered the Tower. She felt no fear upon entering it, but she was pretty impressed by the inner beauty it had contained.

Background: Alice grow up not knowing who her father was. Her mother had told her countless stories about him and showed her pictures. She was fascinated of him and wanted to meet him in person but her mother refused, telling Alice lies on why she couldn't meet him. Her mother had told her that she was born as a ShadowHunter and had to leave her home, in which she did. Alice moved away and to the Tokyo Institution so she can be as far away as possible from her close friends and family.
