After looking in the trunks of three different cars. Tom starts to give up, that is until he opens up the trunk of the forth vehicle. Finding a bunch of different weapons and supplies for him and Andrew. He then calls Andrew over saying "I have found us more weapons." Inside the trunk is a Double Barrel Shotgun and Pistols each of these weapons have full clips with ten extra clips of ammo next to them. Tom hands Andrew the Pistol saying "Take these, I am going to use the shotgun." He then picks up the shotgun and slings them over his back. Tom tells Andrew to grab the duffel bag out of the car next to him and bring it over.
Tom looks around scared asking "Where are we and what happened?" Tom finally looks around seeing the chaos all around them. He jumps on top of a nearby by car and says "There looks to be no one else on this road with us." He then jumps down from the car and starts going through the trunks of nearby by cars in hope of a better weapon. Since he does not have his Colt 45 anymore because Andrew left it at the house.
Andrew stood there looking at Tom as he sat there. He ran over to Tom slapping him across the face to see if he was even there. Tom sat there unresponsive. "Get up you idiot," Yelled Andrew," we have to get out of here!" Andrew decided to take action he picked up Tom and threw him over his shoulder. "He must be in shock," thought Andrew. He sprinted out of the house to see the street filled with wrecked cars. Some were burning and others had driven into houses. People were stampeding over each other in the street trying to reach a safe area. Andrew looked over to see what they were running from. He saw armed men shooting blindly into the crowd taking down packs of people. Behind them two trucks full of armed soldiers ready to be deployed. They soldiers and the group of men started a firefight the group of unknown men taking down 8 civilians with every soldier they killed. Andrew immediatly back peddled and ran the other direction as fast as his legs could carry him and his old friend. He came to an intersection and turned right onto a narrow road that lead to downtown. That road would then take them to the outskirts. They needed to get away from the city. It would be chaos here within an hour and in a crowded city with scared people was not something he wanted to do. Tom finally came to his senses rolling off of Andrew's shoulders.
"Give me a second to turn it." Andrew said with disdain. He picked up the video game remote to flip it off when off in the distance he heard a loud explosion. BOOM the house rumbled and flecks of the ceiling started to fall. "What's going on," Andrew screamed? Looking around with fright he ran to his room to grab his bag and fill it with supplies. "We have to get out of here we coud be under attack!" Andrew packed up food, water, and any resource he could find. He also picked up his 44 mm revolver that he kept in dangerous situations. "Don't just stand there help me," Andrew yelled!
Tom looks at Andrew confused and says "No, I just woke up just now because of your stupid game." Tom then looks outside. He turns back to Andrew with a face full of horror and asks "What the heck happen outside. The roads are filled with flipped over cars and there is blood everywhere. What happened last night, turn off the game and turn on the news so we can see what has happened, and what we should do about this."
Tom wakes up hearing gun shots. His military training kicks in an he rolls of his bed and grabs his Colt 45 from under his bed. He rushes down stairs with his gun drawn looking for the source of the gun fire. He slowly turns the corner of the kitchen into the living room. Where he finds his life long friend Andrew, who he meet in the army, seeing this he yells at Andrew saying "Turn that game down now! What is wrong with you!"
