Gerrard Holtzer [A] 8 years ago
Gerrard was excited to be gong back to Hogwarts, but to him it was the same excitement his siblings had for going to their universities, its just...going to school for a specific status? To him school was school, magical or otherwise, so he needed to be sure he kept a good grade average with all of his teachers. Before he stepped up onto the Train from the platform he slipped on a large boxy set of headphones that blocked out all sorts of noise. He some heavy rock music and looked around for a compartment he could sit himself.

Fortunately for him he spotted one just down the way with a (assumed) First year sitting alone by herself. He found his chance to sit on the other side of the booth and place his owls cage next to him. He saw that the Girl on the other side of the booth was wearing headphones as well and found it rather inviting to have a seat where the two of them wouldn't be quite as bothered. He didn't introduce himself nor did he expect her to introduce herself. Gerrard was just happy for a quiet booth to be open.

He leaned up against the window, pulling out a sketch book and pencil, and waited in silence, music muffling everything around him just enough to keep him relaxed. His hands moved across the paper quietly sketching a bipedal mouse with a sword made from a sewing needle and a shield made from a coin.
Starla Winterhaven [A] 8 years ago
Starla kept her headphones on as she entered the compartment. She was extremely shy and she kept her hood pulled up over her bright moonlight hair. She walked towards the back passing the group of students and slipped into one of the booths. She placed her bag on the seat beside her and took out a small journal. She pulled it out and wrote about the journey through the train station and how everything was so strange. She wasnt used to being around so many people. Scratch that she wasnt used to be around so many wizards and witches, all of her friends were muggles. She didnt use her magic a lot unless she was in trouble and thats why she got sent here. The Ministry of Magic told her parents that she needed to be taught how to control her emotions to avoid causing any more freak accidents. She just hoped she could make a friend.

Desmond McKay [A] 8 years ago
After the girl who called herself Talia entered the compartment, Desmond and Itachi entered the Compartment. "Yo, Name's Desmond and I'm taking this bench righ' here thank you." He says lying down on the soft cushion of the seat with his back to the window. Itachi disguised as a black rat pounced onto his stomach and curled up right there.

"So what Year and house are you lot in?" Desmond asked lazily with a yawn. Desmond was one of those guys who could fall asleep anywhere at any time with all the noise in the world. Some one could blow a fog horn in his ear and he'd still be asleep. Though he was asleep he was able to sense all the surroundings around him. But right now Desmond wouldn't be asleep for sometime since he just started a conversation.

"Thanks," Talia said sitting next to him, "name's Talia, but you can call me Tali." She let her black cat out of his cage and put the cage in the overhead. Jasper sat in her lap when she sat back down. "This is my cat Jasper" She said stroking the underneath of his chin with a grin. She looked out the window past Jason finding her family glaring at the train.

Cant this locomotive move out of the station already. She could feel the heat of her aunts glare with out the woman even seeing her. She looked away from the window and looked at the boy entering after her. She didn't recognise him but that doesn't say much since she's kept to herself and Jasper. She did have an encounter with some Centaurs and a Giant but that's all. As long as she didn't bother them they never bothered her.
Maxine Primrose Avery [A] 8 years ago
Maxine Primrose Avery. That name just so happened to belong to the pink haired girl waltzing her way down the train trying to find a seat. Unfortunately she couldn't seem to find any of her friends in such short notice so finding a seat was a matter of picking and choosing who was worthy enough to sit near her. She could see an empty compartment only a few paces away, but to her demise, the way to get there was blocked by two other students. She tapped her foot loudly and impatiently. "Could you people be any s l o w e r ?" She sighed, rolling her eyes.

Maxine was a fourth year and she did not have the kind of time to wait for her compartment to be taken by some snot-nosed first year because they have no one to sit with. No way. She had to get to that compartment and she had to get there now. If she had been her sister this wouldn't be a problem, EVERYBODY LOVES CLARICE! Augh, except for Maxine of course. Clairice just HAD to be the spotlight in everything. now it was Maxine's turn, she would get the spot light, SHE WOULD BE RESPECTED.

"Since the two of you are playing with your thumbs I'm just gonna- weave on by-" Maxine squeezed to the opposite side of the other Slytherin fourth year TALIA. Eww. and the relatively attractive older boy(possibly a sixth year.. she's seen him before somewhere...). Unfortunately for him, she could not STAND waiting and she had to push past him first to get where she was going. "If you will just excuse me" Soon she had made her way through the two other students apparently waiting to be seated with a complete daisy, the second year with the colored hair. He got around far too often for a first year last year and she had just about enough of his "social-justice-bull" Jeez could the kid be any more spineless?

Either way she made her way to the empty compartment and shut the door.
Jason Andrew Yellowstone [A] 8 years ago
Jason turned around, suddenly aware of the girl asking to join his Compartment. " Oh? Yeah sure feel free to sit wherever!" He grinned a little and made a gesture assuring her every seat around him was certainly open. His cat of course, could be to differ as Munchkin hopped up onto his own seat, Jay's lap. The small orange cat seemed pleased with himself as he puffed out his chest. Jason enjoyed the company of Munchkin quite as much as any wizard friend.

With his grin still softly remaining on his face he pet his cat quietly and waited for the older Witch to sit down. " This school's so huge, I don't think we've met. My name's Jason A. Yellowstone. but everyone just calls me Jay or Jay Squared. its all the same to me" He introduced himself as he observed her black cat. Cats seemed to be popular among the wizards and witches just about the same as Owls. Which reminded him, his dad promised to send him an owl AS SOON as he could. This wasn't much of a surprise, his dad seemed to be a huge worry wart in his letters compared to what went down at home.

Back on the topic of animals... His connection to animals and plants was probably one of his most defining features. Jason ADORED life. Everything about growth and living things always made him curious and it ended up being one of his star classes. At home he even had a large garden, a cactus nursery, and a few pets around the house. He took care of all of them as his father was away, but they did share their interest in life. Jason's favorite forms of life in his home were his cat, Munchkin, and the Cactus Nursery. He even had one of his cacti stowed in luggage in a pretty safe container for the ride only. He couldn't leave all of his babies behind, no sir.
Desmond McKay [A] 8 years ago
Desmond struggled to get out of the McKay grizzly grip of his older brother Garret. "OI! Let Go YA NUTTER, I Need Ta Go on The train, ya bastard!" He yelled out still struggling in Garret's grip. Garret laughed at the youngest McKay with his Crystal blue eyes sparkling with joy, just before he delivered a scull grinding noogie to Desmond. The middle child was practically dying on the platform laughing.

When Desmond got out of his brother's grip he jabbed them both in the shoulder with a smirk. He loved his brothers they were his closest friends and they were always there for him. He said his goodbyes and with Itachi draped over his shoulders lazily, Desmond made his way onto the train. This would be his sixth year at Hogwarts and he had only two more to go before he could find some cushy job at the Ministry of Magic's or open up his own tattooing shop right on Diagon Alley.

On the train the hall way was blocked by a shorter girl with Brown hair. He couldn't see her face and didn't bother to ask her to move so he waited for her to enter the compartment. Meh He was too lazy to find any other spot to sit on this giant train so he was gonna sit with this girl and whomever was in the compartment. He'd ignore them if they tried to get him removed from the compartment.
Talia Foxx [A] 8 years ago
Talia wanted so much to get away from her family, for some odd reason her father's sister Eliza wanted to glare her down like she did the year before at her grandmother's funeral. She hated her family Tali knew her parents were trying for a male Heir like they had last year. They couldn't be happy with her, The only person that loved her for her was her grandmother.

Wandering and maneuvering through the crowd of students and parents Talia was able to get her luggage stowed away and to get on the train. With Jasper's carrying crate in her arm and messenger bag over her shoulder she found a compartment on the train that wasn't entirely empty. It had one boy in it. He looked to be a Second year with a Strawberry blond shoulder length hair that had coral orange tips.
"Mind if I join you? I don't like sitting alone..." She said to the younger boy from the opening of the compartment.

Jason Andrew Yellowstone [A] 8 years ago
Jason was finally going back. After all summer, he could finally feel the rush of returning to Hogwarts. Luggage stowed away, he waved goodbye to his father and boarded the train. There were so many individual seating areas to choose from, each set facing away from each other were separated by walls just as he'd remembered. Quickly he found an empty compartment and seated himself inside, leaving the door open for anyone else.

Jason had been more than busy over the summer, but that didn't make his excitement for Hogwarts lessen. He was pretty bored at home just gardening and practicing magic on his own. His father had always been busy and he'd always had to fend for himself and do all of his hobbies on his own. He couldn't blame his dad for being busy all of the time though, he was a single father working for an only child in a small house. it took a lot to run a family all by yourself and Jason respected that.

Everything was coming back in a buzz and Jason was more than happy to be back. The train was his favorite part as crowds upon crowds of young wizards and witches were buzzing happily and chatting with each other, all sharing the same emotion of excitement to be back at school. The muggleborns were happy to be returning to the wizarding realm, half-bloods and pure bloods happy to see old friends from last year and new students nervously chatting over the excitement. Everything was just... so busy. Jason enjoyed it, even if it was overwhelming.

Quietly, he watched the window just taking in the moment of seclusion from the others even if just for a moment.
