@☾ Mark "You're hurting my heart, Mark." Joshua said playfully with a slight smile painting his lips. Sure the two haven't met in a long time due to some things but it didn't mean their friendship was tainted and forgotten with. He still thought of the other as his best friend, his family though things do change in a couple of years. "I've...i've been doing fine," he began, stuffing his hands in his pockets as he let out a soft sigh, "the pack's been doing great and nothing bad has happened. Ever since being alpha things were quite awkward for me, y'know? I first declined since I wanted to watch over the pups but happens when you're beta and the alpha dies." he explained, letting out a strained laughed. was this awkward as . "Anyways, I mean, if I was here to come attack your pack or something I would've done it already. Don't you think it's quite suicidal to go alone to betray someone who I considered a brother for a long time, Mark?" Joshua questioned with a raised brow as he looked at the other though soon waved it off. He had no time for fighting, especially from his best friend. Sure, they were both alphas. Sure, was awkward. And sure, it's been a while since they last saw each other but they couldn't leave with bad memories of each other. That just wasn't fair to the both of them.

"You know me, I like to venture out a lot and this time I kinda spaced out for a while and ended up here. You know I would rather be in a sunny place rather than in this ghost type place. Honestly, how do you guys even deal in here? This is so creepy." he rambled on a bit as he hugged himself, a shiver washing upon him. Joshua wouldn't say he hated the place but he sure as hell didn't like it. It was just...in the middle. He didn't hate it nor love it. It's just....there. Though, knowing the shadow pack and how they like to be stealthy there was no wondering on why they chose this place. They were like the next closest thing to ninjas and if that isn't cool then he doesn't know what is. "So, Mark, how's the shadow pack been? I'm sure you've been quite the leader to them ever since you been alpha. I'm sure they enjoy your presence. I mean, the summer pack loves me but they only love me for my looks and i think that says a lot about me." he spewed out, faking a cry into the others shoulders as he hugged him though it soon turned into laughter. Joshua really did have some 'what the ' moments where his jokes were purely just question marks to people. His humor was really just fifty-fifty to people. They could either love it or hate it. There is no in between. "Wow, i'm dumb. Anyways, i'm kidding about my summer pack. Ohana means family and family means that no one gets left behind." he nodded, though his face soon turned into confusion as he pondered for a second. "Wait, is that how that line goes? , I don't know." Joshua shrugged nonchalantly, stretching his arms.

@☀ Joshua Everything about today gave Mark such a great feeling. For starters, the wonderful frog that shadowed their territory came back, giving it a chill dark or what humans would say "creepy vibe" . Mark would rather it be hot than cold to top everything off but it was the thing's he had to cope with living on this side of the woods. Saying his last goodbyes to his fellow hunters as they split up the check the area, Mark decided to stay in his human form for a change. After about running for a good ten minutes he started to allow his feet fast to run. Knowing well that their border line of their territory a lot of wolves and humans always seem to wonder their way around here, Mark deiced to keep his guard up. After stopping as he heard his hunters that the place had been cleared, he gave him such a good sign of relief. For once he didn't have to worry that much about "what if?" today. Giving the signal to find some food to bring back he decided to check the woods at least one more time before he did anything else. Running off again as he turned his head left and right, checking every spot for anything living, something ran into him. It wasn't just an small bump into, it was a head on collision, it even brought him a little bit of pain to his upper body.

Falling backwards from the aftermath, he cursed in confusion wondering what or who the hell even dared to come anywhere near his territory. Scooting his self back on the ground a bit, getting some distance from the figure, he frowned his eyebrows with annoyance as it spoke. At this point Mark only had one priority, get it out and for it to shut up. Ready to make a move he stopped his self realizing who it was. In lieu of anger, a small sigh escaped from his lips as the figure as it's arm s his way onto him. This figure was not only just a person, but the leader of the summer pack. This wolf was a good friend of his, at least they were good friends. Being both Alpha's can create some tension along the road, and because of this they ended up drifting farther and father away from each other. Their friendship wasn't something that was just virtually nonexistent or unorthodox to onlookers, it was still there. All the memories and rough times they been through came flowing to him like a waterfall, but that moment of happiness all faded as he thought why they were so distant to one another. Moving wolf's arm off of him as he moved to get his self off the dirty ground, brushing his pants that were being tarnished by dirty wet dirt. Slowly nodding his head as he looked at the wolf, deciding rather or not he should speak. With the feeling of awkwardness manifesting the air, he decided to speak. There was no way out of this one. " Of course it's me who else would it be somewhere this dark or creepy looking in the woods Josh? " Etching on a wary smile as his laughter seem to almost echo the empty area, he stuff his hands into his hoodie, leaning back and forth on his shoes, an eyebrow raised in questioning. "Josh what exactly are you doing here in my grounds-- " His eyes drifted away noticing how mean it might of sound, so he shooked his head, starting off his words differently this time. " I don't mean it in a mean way, I'm just wondering. Putting that aside, I been doing okay lately. How are things with you and the rest of them lately? " He said nodding a head at the wolf. Everything about his elocution and his own were the same, all the same except his. He felt so off and confused but a little bit of happiness. Mark dragged his foot in the ground with slight annoyance, out of all the things please, just let it don't be the number one thing he feared the most from the wolf. Betrayal.

The scenery and mood in the woods changed drastically from what he was used to. No more sunshine and warmth just fog and darkness. Sure, he may have gotten curious and decided to venture out but it looks like the adventure was one that had been carried out too long. He was mildly confused yet excited. This just meant more land for him to explore. More things to know and wonder more about. Joshua put his hand on his hips as he looked around, pondering on where to walk to. The fog was not working out for him. Just too much here and there. Ninjas would love a place like this. Taking a deep breath he took one step forward, then another, and another and before he knew it he was full on sprinting towards who knows where. Joshua just trusted his feet to take him somewhere. Anywhere really. As long as there was something exciting in the area then it would all be worth it. If not then he would've just ran and got himself even more lost without gaining anything from it and that is not the game plan for him. The wind rushed past him as he cut through, feeling more alive and free than anything right now. It was nice to feel alone once in a while and just let go. Though, being alone may have to come later as he was suddenly rammed into something, no, someone as he let out a small 'oof'. Joshua almost had a heart attack, like can you blame the boy? What random person would be in this foggy place just walking around. Picking himself up from the ground he turned to look at the other person that he ran into. Joshua furrowed his eyebrows as he tilted his head, a habit he had whenever he was confused. The person, well..man, was oddly familiar to him. He didn't dwell on it though since he assumed it to be nothing. "Hey, bro, listen..uh...sorry about y'know..running into you and all," he started off with a chuckle and nervous hand movements as he pointed back and forth from his direction and the dude, "but I mean, like, that was quite something on how we...i'll just be quiet now." Joshua mentally slapped himself for rambling on. Honestly, this person was a stranger yet here he was talking as if they weren't in a creepy and foggy section of the woods. The things Joshua does amazes him himself. "Anyways, the name's.." he began but trailed off as he finally got a look at the other. "Holy ! Mark! Is that really you?" he grinned, putting his arms around the other in a playful choke hold. "Where the hell have you been, ya brat!?"
