@seohyun | Yoona tapped the cover of her Pediatrics textbook, her nails making barely-there dents on the black surface. Her eyes scanned the library for any sign of her partner, though she doubted she could recognize Seohyun until she was right in front of Yoona's face. Yoona bit harshly on her bottom lip, furrowing her eyebrows in concentration as she eyed the library's front doors carefully; hopefully Seohyun would get here soon, because she really wanted to finish this project as soon as possible; she had another Biology paper due in two days and she hadn't yet concluded it, much less checked it over for any errors.

Yoona's hand was just sliding in her pocket when she spotted a face that made her freeze. The long hair, the familiar-looking sweetness on her features -- it had been some years ago since she'd last seen this face, but Yoona could recognize it anywhere.

How could she ever forget the face of her best friend.

Without really knowing what she was doing, Yoona had cupped her hands to and shouted across the library, "Seo Joohyun! Is that really you?"

@seohyun | As wonderful as the library was, Yoona was nevertheless surprised to see it so packed on a Saturday afternoon. The previous Saturday afternoons she had been here, she had seen the vast building nearly empty, students preferring to spend their precious weekend with their friends downtown; which wasn't a bad thing, since it meant she had her favorite place in the whole world (almost) to herself. Today, though, it seemed that wasn't going to be the case, she mused to herself as she weaved her way through the tables, looking past the numerous heads for an empty table to sink her teeth on.

It was probably because the science department was having its annual project season; she recognized most of the students as being from her biology and medicine classes, their necks bent and eyes poring over the numerous textbooks spread out before them on the library tables. Out of the corner of her eye, Yoona spotted an empty table, and with lightning speed, darted over to claim it. Now all that was left was to text the person she was meeting.

Pulling out a slip of paper aforementioned person had given her, she proceeded to call the number written down. "Seohyun-ssi? Hi, it's Yoona. Your partner for that project we were assigned for Medicine? You gave me your number so we could meet at the library today. I have a table here already; it's near the far corner of the first floor. Meet me there?"

The girl's name, Seohyun, sounded foreign on her tongue, but Yoona couldn't shake the nagging feeling that she'd heard it somewhere before. Though this Seohyun girl had apparently been in her class last year, Yoona had yet to get a proper look at the fellow sophomore; the only time she'd laid eyes on her was during a fleeting moment at the end of class when she'd rushed to take down the girl's number. Sinking down into her chair, Yoona tried to banish away the feeling of familiarity she felt towards the girl; her brows furrowed together in concentration.
