@(o) joshua At the instructions he received, Mark glanced over his shoulder to see the aforementioned girl working at the counter. The beta made a quiet sound of realization and nodded with a flustered smile. Of course it was that easy. After taking in the rather simple directions, Mark turned back towards the other with an easy smile, nodding at the question that followed. "Of course! Only if you want, I mean. I wouldn't want to force you to hang out with me if you didn't want to." He joked, chuckling shortly after. "Nonsense. You'd make great company for people who'd rather have some quiet, relaxing time! We don't have to do anything extravagant." He assured.

@(b) mark Joshua laughed slightly at the male's tone of voice. It wasn't actually a crime to be that loud inside the library, especially in this one but it seems the people who tend to go to libraries like this got used to the fact that this place should be peaceful and quiet. He then nodded at the male's words, "You just have to tell the girl over there--" he started and pointed out to the girl busy stamping on book on the counter "--that you're going to borrow these books for a while. I bet she would be happy about it since there's not really a lot if people that go here and borrow books." he added then smiled at the male. "You would hang out with me?" he asked, tilting his head slightly in disbelief. "But I must warn you.. I'm quite boring since all I do is hang out in a library and read different novels.." he said

@(o) joshua "Joshua-- It's nice to meet you!" Mark's voice was a little louder than appropriate with their current location, the place having gotten a considerable amount of newcomers in the time that they spent chatting. Once realizing this, the beta lowered his voice into a quiet whisper, a sheepish expression painting his features. "Whoops," He chuckled then hesitated to continue when asked if he needed anything else. "Ah, well, I can check this out, right? Bring it home and return it later..?" Mark asked, slightly unsure due to the fact that it was only his first time in a library. "I'll probably always need book help if we're being honest--," he laughed, "but right now, probably not. Though, I wouldn't mind hanging around since you seem like a nice guy."

@(b) mark "Oh.. My name's Joshua.." Joshua replied with a small bow gesture with his hand while he took the male's hand for a hand shake. "It's nice to meet you and I do hope you'll like those books I recommended.." he added then smiled at the male before letting go of his hand. "So.. Do you have anymore requests or something to ask help with?" he asked the male, tilting his head slightly. "I'd still gladly help you, I don't have that much to do anyways.." he continued with a smile.

@(o) joshua "I don't really have a preference so anything you suggest would be good." Mark shrugged lightly and smiled, following the omega towards a particular section and stopping when he did. Judging by the look on his companion's face, Mark assumed he found a few that interested him. As the omega animatedly described each of the books presented to him, Mark listened attentively, a small, encouraging smile on his lips. After looking through each of the books handed to him and reading their summaries, pursing his lips as he did so, Mark held up the one that looked and sounded most interesting to him. "I think I'll start with this one first then...Thanks--" He paused when he belatedly realized that he didn't even know this kind stranger's name. "I'm sorry, I didn't even get your name. Mine's Mark." The beta beamed, gathering all three books to his chest with one arm and offered his other for handshake.

@(b) mark "I do love reading, it's kind of what I do whenever I have free time.." Joshua replied before nodding at the male's words and moved toward another shelf where the book seemed new. "There's a lot of books I could recommend you.. What genre do you actually prefer? Romance? Thriller? Horror? or maybe SciFi?" he asked while looking through the books and smiling when he found the some of his all time favorite ones. Taking the three different books from the shelf, he showed it to the stranger. "These ones are my favorites and I highly recommend reading them.." he started off. "The Fault in our stars, I've read it so many times and it has a really great story, be it a secret or not, I actually cried more through the book than the actual movie" he explained, laughing slightly. "Then there's Looking for Alaska.. It has the same author with the first book but a completely different story." he added before smiling and handed the last book. "And this is Fallen.. It's actually a series but I'm sure once that you're done with the first one, you'd want to read the rest.." he said then smiled at the male once again. "I hope you'd find yourself liking them too.." he added

@(o) joshua Mark halted in his steps as he tried to think of any other details he'd been given about the book. Coming up blank, he let out a disappointed sigh and picked up his pace once more to keep up with his temporary tour guide. "I'm really sorry for wasting your time like this..I just can't seem to remember anything else. Someone had recommended the book to me so I'm not /too/ worried about not finding it." He explained, giving a slight shrug of his shoulders. The way the other rambled off a few titles–that were completely lost on the clueless beta–seemed as though he really enjoyed books, and from what Mark can probably guess, he also spends a lot of time at the library. After all, there had been no one else in sight. With a soft chuckle, he gently nudged the latter with his elbow in an attempt to gain his attention again. "Hey, no worries. You seem like you really love reading?" The observation came out sounding more like a question than a statement, Mark having not wanted to assume anything, though it did seem kind of obvious. "If you don't mind, maybe you could recommend me one of your favorites? I'm not that enthusiastic about reading, but it wouldn't hurt to read now and then, right? Is there something that's, like, a short read but still interesting?"

@(b) mark Joshua stopped on his tracks and turned to look at the stranger, tilting his head slightly in astonishment. The male had forgotten the name of the book he had been looking for and Joshua just couldn't believe that it could happen. Maybe the stranger doesn't like books that much, but why was he in a library then? Shaking his head, he smiled at the male and continued to walk towards a bookshelf, looking at the book title. "That could be a problem.." he said, his fingers passing through every book present in the bookshelves. "Siblings.." he mumble to himself before looking back to the male. "Uhmm.. can you give a much broader detail? Because there's a lot of novels about sibling relationships.." he asked. "Like there's The Sister Pact, Sense Sensibility, East of Eden, Pride and Prej--" he continued but suddenly stopped when he noticed himself being a total geek in front of the stranger. "Sorry about that.. I tend to blabber when it comes to books.." he apologized, looking down onto his fiddling fingers in embarrassment.

@(o) joshua Mark felt a little bad for disturbing the stranger's peace, drawing away his attention from what could've possibly been a really interesting book. However, there didn't seem to be anyone else around at this time–even the people who worked there were currently unavailable, probably organizing the books in this confusing way that Mark can't figure out. He was about to tell the other to go back to whatever he was doing, but instead, the stranger offered to help. Mark beamed with gratitude, thanking the latter and beginning to tell him what book he was searching for only for his smile dropped, turning sheepish. What book? Oh, shoot, he forgot the title and the author. What had he been looking for again? The beta opened and closed his mouth a few times, trying to think of something that sounded familiar. "I actually...mm...I forgot the name?" It came off sounding more like a question than anything. "Something about some kids..I think they might've been siblings?" He scratched his cheek and looked around with a slightly worried expression. Oh, no, he really didn't want to waste this person's time or anything.

@(b) mark Joshua always arrived a few minutes earlier than everyone else who often visited the library. He isn't really much of a morning person, but when it came to reading different kinds of novels, he would do anything even if it costs him his precious sleep. Yawning softly, he smiled at the girl behind the counter and gave her a nod. She knew him as he was a regular visitor, of course. Once he had greeted the girl, he immediately paced towards the familiar bookshelf and took the book he had been reading the last time he had visited which was yesterday. He walked towards his favorite spot which was a table located on the corner, kind of secluded from anybody else. He didn't like to be disturbed during his 'quality time' with books and often tried to hide away from people. Once settled in his seat, he started reading the book in had. A couple minutes or even an hour, he didn't really took notice, he felt a light tap on his shoulder. Taking his attention off the words from the book, he turned around and looked at the person who had disturbed him from his reading. "Uhmm.." he mumbled out after he had finished listening to the male, debating if he should really try to help or just get back to reading his book. But that would just be rude, he thought to himself before looking once again at the male, "I'll help you find it.." he replied, placing the book mark on the book in hand and putting it down onto the table. "So, what book are you actually looking for?" he asked as he led the man towards the bookshelves.

@(o) Joshua It was Mark's first time visiting a library due to the fact that he wasn't much of a book lover. He hardly ever picked up a book since he just wasn't interested in them. However, he'd been suggested a book that sounded quite interesting; so he figured maybe he'd try to find it and give it a try. The beta walked down each aisle, scanning the spines of each book with confusion obviously written all over his face. Why were there so many books? Looking around for a moment, he spotted someone seated at a table in the corner. Mark walked up to the stranger and lightly tapped him on the shoulder with an apologetic expression. "Hey, sorry to bother you, but...uh...I was wondering if maybe you could help me out?" He whispered quietly, not liking how disturbingly silent the place was. Why did no one talk here? "I'm trying to find a book, but I don't really know where to look. How do libraries even work..." Mark grumbled under his breath as he looked at the surrounding shelves. At this point, he was so overwhelmed by just so many books he'll never have the motivation to read.
