Demons need to feed on the life force of others (usually referred to as 'qi') in order to survive. they do this by engaging in ual contact with a partner and draining the life force through a kiss. they do not always kill their partner this way, so that they can feed from them again.
Feeding boosts their superhuman strength, speed and hearing, and is a separate hunger from their food-based sustenance.
They are inexplicably alluring to the other races (probably an evolutionary mechanism to court partners), and as a side effect, are very charismatic and smooth-talkers, which makes them untrustworthy in the eyes of the other races.

Common demon stereotypes include promiscuity, elaborate con schemes, and an unpredictable danger all round. whilst there is precedent for demons keeping a harem of slaves to feed off of, this is most certainly the minority. whilst they usually live their immortal lives on their own, some are known to pair up with others for life.
ALmost all demons will be attracted to any gender, but there are some whom prefer one or the other. typically these types of demons have died of starvation, which is why so few of them are around today.
Their representation is loosely organized around a secretive oligarchy, who answer wholly to the new justicar, park jimin, though getting older, his youthful appearance is quick to make others underestimate his cunning. he will go to any length to maintain peace, as it's what suits his people and their feeding the most.
