if a fertile (alpha/fertile beta) partner and a "sterile" (sterile beta/Omega) partner have mated during the heat event they must roll here in order to discover whether or not conception has occurred. both partners must roll after a mating attempt. the potential carrier will be notified as to whether or not conception has taken place at the end of the heat.
