@kim seungmin it didn't take long after seungmin had sent the message for woojin's phone to begin buzzing, stray kid's i am you playing melodiously as the ringtone which prompted woojin to pick it up from the table where he had set during his vocal practice. tapping on the screen of his phone, he reads the recipient's name and the displayed message before quickly typing in his reply.

i'm almost done with practice. i'll see you in a few? don't worry about paying, i was thinking about grabbing ice cream home earlier anyway.

grabbing his bag and chucking his items into it, he heads towards the ice cream parlour that seungmin specified, finding the blonde in his seat. "minnie, hey!" he hadn't noticed how puffy and red the other's face was from the distance, but as he got near, the upset look on the younger's face was evident and a concerned look took over his expression. "what's wrong?" he didn't bother taking a seat, quickly moving to squat down beside seungmin to be at eye level, searching his eyes.

@kim woojin another loose breath came grappling out of seungmin's tight lips, the blur in his vision causing his digits to miss quite a few of the letters on his keyboard. a terrible idea it was, to have gone alone and miserable to such a jolly place. he knew he'd regret not telling anyone else, but he'd figured it would be better if he kept his anger to himself. trembling as he did, the blond wiped a few rebellious tears away with a purple sleeve, wishing the rattling in his chest didn't put him in such unease as it did. he'd already typed down the words, now he just needed the number– woojin's, to be exact. he twirled the spoon around his sundae so as to appear occupied with it, yet the fingers scrolling to find his friend's number showed the underlying hesitation he fought to suppress. "it's okay, he'll understand," he mutters to himself in a defeated whisper, pressing send on the text message before he could even allow any second thoughts.
