The island of Folescense is a pokemon sanctuary recently discovered by Professor Emerald, serving as host to a littany of different region's pokemon -- most curiously, Emerald has discovered a temple at the desert peak of Mt. Cyrus with strange carvings of what he could only determine to be a coalition of the Pokemon world's legendary and mythical pokemon. Here, he believed, some met to discuss and determine the pokemon world's state and each aspect that is ruled over by these legendary beasts. This miraculous pokemon world discovery has led Professor Wilcox to fund a team of adventurous pokemon trainers to traverse the land and gather information on its subjects, upgrade the tattered islandscapes, as well as conduct especially important research on the many legendaries who pass by on 'vacation.' Hence, this island's biodiversity is off the charts, but with that goes uncharted waters and unforged paths.
