quick overview

There are three dynamics or secondary genders(ᾳ ), beta ( β ) and omega ( ω ). One must be born into one of the dynamics.

> Alphas
are (generally) the largest and physically strongest out ofthe three dynamics. They make up 25 to 30 percent of the worlds population.

> alphas do not posses uterus or ovaries, therefore can not get impregnated.

> alphas take on the highest rank and can be very protective of what they consider to be theirs.
> alphas have many different things that differinate them from other types, ranging from physical characteristics, psychological attributes to physiology. among one of the most well kown traits is the knot at the base of their . the knot is a bundle of nerves that expands when the alpha is close to ing and is pushed into the omega to lock themselves in to ensure the omega catches. for a knot to go down it can take anything between a few minutes to several hours.

> a rut is when an alpha experiences ual frustrazion and and an intese need to mateand pass on their geneses.
> because of the high levels of testosterone and adrenaline during a rut, alphas are more supscetable to engaging in fights and going feral.

> ruts can be avoided by the most part through "rut suppresants" which is a medication that will make an alpha not have a rut. however those suppresants must be laid down from time to time to let biology take it's course. Otherwise the body might suffer.

betas

are the largest group in society, making up roughly 50 percent of the worlds general population.

> betas can experience either a rut or heat but are lesser effected by it then alphas or omegas.
> typically betas can only impregnate others. the chances of them becoming pregnant themselves lies around 5 to 10 percnt. Though in recent years there have been more and more specialists to help betas with falling pregnant.

> when it comes to size they are (generally) smaller and weaker then alphas but stronger than omegas.
> their scent tends to be weaker/fainter then that of alphas or omegas.

omegas

they compose the smallest demographic, only 20 percent of the generals world population.

> when it comes to size and strenght omegas are generally below both alphas and betas, usually possesing a petite structure, narrow shoulders, wider hips andmore fat than muscles.

> they posses a uterus and ovaries. Their is smaller when compared to others and they can notimpregnate others.
> they will experience a heat once a month. during this time they experience an intense ual frustration  and feel the desperate need to be knotted and impregnated.
> fortunatly those can be contained through the use of "heat suppresants" Those just like "rut sppresants" have to be laid down after contniued use.

> during their heat omegas produce a secret called slick. slick is a transulent substance that has the function of lubricating and omegas entrance as well as to entice alphas and betas to actually mate with them.

> aside from scenting others and being scent when in stressfull situations, omegas also partake into an activity called nesting

OTHER INFORMATION

Going feral
>  when an alpha/ beta/ omega goes feral it means that they go into a stage where their most primitive and animalistic side. It's an instinctive action used as both competitive and defesnive mechansim.

Nesting
> nesting consist of buildin a literall "fort" made of blankets, pillows, shirts, towels, linens, etc. that have a particular scent (usually that of their close friends, family members, mates.) Nests can be anything from rooms build just for that to a closet, to just a matress on the floor.

> nesting can be done for various reason (mostly by betas and omegas). from being afraid, to being anxious to just plain upset.  they also nest inpreparation of their heats. in case of mating with someone they will prepare one big enough for all of them to fit comfortably in it.

> Omegas and Betas also nest a lot during and after a pregnancy. they feelsaver in their nest and it feels like it's the best place to care and comfort for their mates and pups there.

> it's dangerous to enter a nest without permission ofbeingovited into it.

scents

> Scent glands do not fully develope untl someone hits puperty. In between ages 5 to 7 the glands do secrete an already characteristic scent, but nothing that really stands out. Their scent just becomes extremly perceptable and their own after their first rut/heat.

> this makes it easier for parents to scent their childrenwitht heir own scent.
 

claim marks
> claim marks are permanent bites that one gives to their mate to indicate that they are now bonded. said bite is given where their scent glands are located in their necks. this will make the salvia's pheromones of person a mix with person B's natural scent. this will make them smell like each other for longer than just scenting and will not erease their natural scent.
