 only near death can you live behind the scene — that's where the real action is Nothing much is known about the interrogator-turned-tech because each time Yixing -- or 'Lay' as he goes by -- is asked about his background, the answer is always different, and vastly so. Only one thing is for sure: he originally joined K as an interrogator. All that changed when his knees were crushed while on a mission, resulting in him having to be confined to a wheelchair most of the time. Nicknamed the 'maniac' for treating life-or-death situations as a mere game, simply numbers and letters on a screen, and for using drastic methods, most field specialists find Lay tough to work with. But to his fellow techs, he's the guy who talks too much, takes too many risks, treats nothing seriously enough, and is an overall offensive to be around.
Every single day I find myself addicted to the euphoria of knowing that someone else's life is in my hands. Gamble with fate and emerge victorious each time because all this is simply a game to me and so I dare. Nothing and no one can stop me so don't bother trying. Right or wrong does not exist and recklessness is the way to live.
